Feuer Zug Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Here is a pair of small scale general aviation aircraft seen at many small airports around the world. On the left, the Cessna 172 Skyhawk, the most produced aircraft ever; on the right, the Piper PA-28 Warrior, the 4th most produced aircraft. These two are often used as flight trainers and I've flown models of both. These are for a flight training school to use as aids. Cessna 172 Skyhawk Piper PA-28 Warrior Quote
MKJoshA Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I love these little models! My dad used to fly a Cessna so these bring back great memories. Quote

For really short fields, nothing beats the older models with 40 degree flaps and Johnson bar. In mountains, the power of the newer 180HP ones is a must though. Quote

Sometimes, I build with an intentionally limited (more "classic") selection of parts to create a certain look, or they just work to make what I'm trying to build. In this case, it was the latter.
