This is just a small MOC for the desert subtheme: Johnny Thunder and Doctor Lightning on their motorcycle with sidecar.  I used the classic motorcycle which first appeared in 1983. It saw its last appearence in 1996 (classic town sets 6598 and 6625) so it might be possible that it would have been used for an Adventurers' set from 1998. The sidecar is attached to the motorcycle the same way as in set 6622: just with the tan 2x4 plate. But this construction is pretty sturdy (my old bricks have a tight clutch power). The motorcycle and its sidecar come with two minifigures, one scorpion and a lot of accessories.

I built this MOC as contribution to #PolybagContest hosted by @retro.figs over on IG.

Comments and critics are as always welcome!

Looks good! I would personally have used two of these

for the front of the sidecar and maybe put a little windshield on top. Still like it though!

@Autumn  Thank you very much for your suggestion. I gave it a try. Et voilà:

I think the front of the sidecar looks a bit blocky this way. So I prefer my initial design. :classic:

I always thought that Doctor Lightning is the type to write things in his diary so he wouldn't have to remember them.  I like both of these designs, though have to agree with ye that the second makes it blockier. Good job on both! :pir-thumb:

Perfect classic build for the time!

I loved that old motorcycle and very much did not like the trike that essentially replaced it, which is a real though rare vehicle as compared to a motorcycle.

And unlike newer motorcycle parts, this one actually felt proportional for Minifigures.

Very nicely done! I love the sidecar (the first design of it is my favorite)

Thank you! Very appreciated!

Both versions are cute! As other said, I love how retro for the building era it looks, it would fit right in as a set!
