(Though I only know of one mobile browser [Kiwi Browser] that supports extensions like that)

I also use this extension, and with firefox on android it works just fine for me.

We are looking into doing something like Patreon, because the existing Ads don't cover the hosting costs.

I would definitely be willing to make some contributions.

Does it remove the white flash before an EB page is fully loaded? And does it work properly on LEGO.com?

I've never noticed a flash on EB and it works fine on lego.com in my memory. The only thing it doesnt work nicely for is gmail, but you can easily stop it from running on gmail. It works visually but slows the site down enormously.

But more space doesn't realy help readability if the text stays the same size. :)

To get it correct: For mobile or desktop view & if the text too small or too big?

yeah, its called BBcodes and those are disabled as they are considered deprecated in one of the next versions from the provider.

I'm relieved to see that the emoticons are still there... Also it will take a bit of time to get used to this design but as long as it is more efficient for you, it's good for me too. Also, why doesn't it tell me about the nađe of the next unread topi

I just edited the colors of the poll bars to be a little better readable, hope it helps as there were very hard to read (at least in the dark mode).

I'm super happy with the dark mode, thank you for all the efforts!

Wow, there's a dark mode! I didn't even notice before you pointed it out, this is great!

Other than that, I guess it'll take a while to adjust to the new theme but there doesn't seem to be any serious problems with it for me at least. The forum appears to be much faster than before the update which is also good.

Thanks for the tip. Does it remove the white flash before an EB page is fully loaded? And does it work properly on LEGO.com? I could test myself of course, but don't like to install extensions and remove them again when not working properly..

Yep!

It seems to work fine on Lego.com as well. The nice thing is that you have website-specific toggles, so it can be turned off where websites have a native dark mode, or where it causes problems.

Huh, maybe I should try Firefox. Though there are some other Kiwi features I like!

A general observation: the site seems to load a bit slower on my phone than it did before? Maybe it's just my brain tricking me, maybe others can say?

Most other users generally told it may be felt faster - as we are not using any CDN services, may it be the packets going half the globe? But I think you would not have raised this, if it was the same before.. which browser and is it the same when in wifi or on direct internet line connection from the phone?

Didn't get a reply about this in the previous page so I post it again, I hope I'm not breaking any rules.

Can the format for read and unread threads be the same as before? In the old format a read thread would be unbold, while an unread thread is bold. Now everything is in bold and the indication for read/unread is in the background, and my brain is so confused. Not to mention the two background colors are not that different to my eyes.

Ah sorry I did not reply - I changed that the last night - please do a CTRL+F5 or a complete refresh of the page, should be looking like the old view again..

And all fine for asking again, don't hesitate to if I owe you an answer :D

All threads' names are still bold to me..

I'm using Chrome on Windows 10 on desktop. Also, is the new reply sound gone? I have my speaker on and I didn't hear that sound when you sent the new reply.

Sound is not there yet, need to find out how to implement that again..

Super strange as I am also using chrome on desktop and for me the difference is visible..

Ah I see it now. The problem is that the unread's supposed unbold looks too close to the read's bold. Is the unread set at semibold instead of regular?

I'm using firefox on android 14. Its the same on mobile data and on wifi, and now it seems faster. Perhaps it was just my network being slow at the time, which happens occasionally. Sorry for the confusion.

I can't see a font difference...

It seems that unread threads have a grey background, and the others are white, thats the only difference I can spot.

I would prefer a bold/regular distinction.

That and the name of the next unread topic....

can you delete the cookies for eurobricks, CTRL+F5 reload the page and then try to login again? not sure why my chrome is rendering those correctly but others arent. Or please zoom to see if the difference is maybe "just too tiny to be recognized at normal zoomlevels".

The difference in font weight is negligible and imperceptible.

After doing all that, if I zoom about 300% (!), I can see a little difference in the fonts... but it is almost imperceptible. I can distinguish only by grey (unread) against white(read).

On my android 14, with chrome, the same. It suggested to install the eurobricks APP (this is new, isn't it??)  and inside it, its the same.
