2. How do I hide top posters in a topic? I'd rather not have it cluttering up a forum I'm reading.

Think I found the setting and disabled it, please check if it is better now!

One strange thing I noticed was that certain users who are grand dukes, had the 'is moderator' badge over their profile picture, but some other grand dukes did not.

Also the notifications system is still very dimwitted as it  kept saying I have a notification for a reply which I already read

Possibly clear your cookies and login again - over the day I had an issue with some cronjob not running regulary to send out notification mails for e.g. - may have messed with your cookies.. if not helping, we need to look deeper for your issue.

Do you have two profiles for A/B testing in mind with the badges being different than what would be expected? Would be awesome, but all fine if none in mind.

I need to go over the thread the next days and gather all up and possibly update the main post with the additional bugs + possible fixes.. but not today anymore as I started 1 AM and fnished 9:30 AM.. so it was just 5h hours of sleep afterwards for today.. :D

Related to post headings, in dark mode it's hard to distinguish between the blue heading and the dark background, it could do with bigger contrast please.

As others have noted the site is much faster now thanks!

@Calanon Will restore them the next days. Thanks & if you find more, pleeeease report them here aswell, it is appreciated!

Hi! Will that also restore the markup code for image preview ? Before the update, I could just paste the generated markup from postimage, which resulted in a small preview image shown in the reply body and a bigger image could be opened by clicking the link.

Example markup which used to work:

[url=https://postimg.cc/3dxQPmWs][img]https://i.postimg.cc/3dxQPmWs/IMG-9904.jpg[/img][/url]

No, BBcode was deactivated, so not possible anymore.

Started to gather up the complaints and wishes and updated the first posting of mine.

For future adds of new findings: Would be nice if you could read through the list of the main post again and check if your case is somehow mentioned to reference towards it, or feel free to state "I think I have another issue here + description".

We may not be able to make everybody happy or us being able to find ideal solutions for all reported items - but be sure we are listening and all contributions in forms of constructive critism are appreciated by us!

I think I found something new, on mobile when you tap the [time since last post] text from the Forums or Themes pages it goes to the first post in that thread rather than the last, and does not go anywhere when tapped in the subforum pages. It is working as intended in the desktop version.

Big fan of the upgrades, the site looks great!

@ForgedInLego Interesting - that may be a bug in the vendors original template we used - I played just with the visuals, not the functionality yet xD

So I may try this myself to see where and what it is about, theanks for reporting and glad you and most of the others like it! ♥

Hi Christoph,

I just noticed that the "your conent(?) has been restored" feature, when abandoning a reply to look somewhere else (either intentionally or accidentally), then reverting to the reply window (empty) and pressing return, and then this message came up, and the entire text I typed in before reappeared = was restored. Now it is simply gone, so one has to be careful not to leave that reply window.

I t could a) very well be that this is just me and b) it is really not an issue when you know that you have to pay attention.

All the best,
Thorsten

I think the replybox is somehow still messy in itself.. recognized myself this has still flaws - not sure what the difference may be from my testing in the test environment - or if I just did not test well enough..
Also all typos are up to the vendor xD

For the people using my dark mode button: Is the flicker at loading better or even gone?

Also fixed some other visual things & updated the main post accordingly, regards

I found an interesting bug, if you click "Theme" at the bottom of the page and select one of the alternatives to "Eurobricks 2025 Default Theme" named "Shadowlands 2021", the website completely stops working - server replies 500 on any forum page.

I fixed it by going to an invalid address to get the 404 page, (for example, https://eurobricks.com/forum/asdfghjkl) and changing the theme back while on that page.  But until I figured it out I had to delete my cookies to log out so I could see the forum.

I didn't notice it this time. It was definitely noticeable the previous 2 days.

It didn't bother me really, unlike the light grey background behind the white text for quoted posts, and the dark blue titles on dark grey background in the activity feed! I'm sure that will get sorted out eventually.

yeah, had some motivation and time the last hour to fix some things - for your mentioned white text in front of grey background: is that felt better now?

Have that mentioned already in the main post - not recommended to do so as you found out. Also nice for delivering a fix for users getting back! thanks

One thing I noticed, is that there used to be a "back to top" link at the bottom of the activity feed. New site doesn't have one, so now I have to scroll all the way back up.

This site is working faster & smoother than before.

Whoopsies, this is a function I am personally not using. Will take a look, but I guess that may be gone with the vendors new theme as we did not alter any functional elements of the ui... so chances are it stays that way.

Also happy to hear that it is felt faster and smoother :)
