Takanuinuva Posted June 2 Posted June 2 This has been out for a while but wanted to mention that the first half of Season 3 is gonna release June 5th on Netflix. Quote
rebelpilot Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Just quoting my post from the BAM thread in case people haven't seen it and are interested in the Dreamzzz minifigs: 18 hours ago, rebelpilot said: It's probably time to post an image on the June BAM here since they're available in stores now, I have them already. Taken from jaysbrickblog because they're arranged in the "correct" suggest build. The unique parts are: Izzie's torso Izzie's skirt is new in coral Logan's torn shirt torso Logan's tail is new in dark azure Bright light blue classic space torso I think the eye print on Z-Blob's head is new, the slime isn't Z-Blob wrestler torso Reddish orange pirate torso From what I can tell the denim vest torso is just this printed torso with bare yellow arms and black hands so it can be classified as new unless it's been in a recent City release I haven't seen yet. Also Logan's dual moulded legs surprisingly haven't yet been released on PAB yet, so at least it's a way to source them. Quote
Lyichir Posted June 3 Posted June 3 Definitely an interesting selection. I'm not sure whether I'll plan to get any of these since unlike the previous Dreamzzz BAM parts (which largely featured characters' canon waking world outfits), it's unclear whether any/all of these will actually represent outfits from the show. But I do like that candy outfit for Izzie! Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted June 3 Posted June 3 (edited) The pirate is also a Dreamzzz character it seems, he has the dream chasers hourglass emblem on the back. Edited June 3 by Yperio_Bricks typo Quote
Killian Posted June 8 Posted June 8 Totally called it! Spoiler Mrs Castillo being in more sets than Mr Oz, who is a member of the main good guy cast doesn't make much sense currently. I assume she may turn out to be Lunia, since her hourglass is "special" in the sets - it's on a staff when nobody else's is. Probably representing Jayden's outfit from Reveal hidden contents the race in season 3 That was my wife and I's theory as well. It makes a lot of sense! Yup, I think that's sort of representing that outfit. Having finished the first half of season 3, I think it's a big improvement over season 2(and I loved season 2) and especially season 1. We'll see how the 2nd have of the season goes but I'm sure it will be just as good. Quote

Spoiler Yep I knew it ever since she had one of the items the Never Witch wanted in Season 2. She prob had her Lunia outfit in the cancelled set. I do wonder if then she was thrown into 3 frequencies since she was still around in the dream world. I am also curious how Dreamsmasher undid Nightmare King being a guardian and split Migo from him. TeriXeri Posted June 13 Posted June 13 (edited) Hope the theme will do a more Pirate wave next or something. Of course there was the Shark Ship in wave 1, but they have done very little sea animals beside the narwhal balloon, and the Shark Submarine will still be around. Also 2025 had 5 Mateo and 2 Cooper sets, so Izzie should really get something bigger, and not another bunchu but perhaps some kind of animal ship. Edited June 13 by TeriXeri Quote
Lyichir Posted July 2 Posted July 2 Apparently a clearer picture of the cancelled Game Island Tower leaked... confirming that Mrs. Castillo and the villain on the top of it would've been unique. I kind of get the cancellation (the price was definitely quite substantial), but it's still a shame. I really think the design, with the roller coaster track and video billboards, was extremely cool—reminds me a bit of Deca Tower from Splatoon 2, only pushed in an even more cyberpunk/fantastical direction. TeriXeri Posted July 5 Posted July 5 (edited) So now, with BDP 9 returning cannons to the list (likely used for Icons Black Pearl, but perhaps more, 3-in-1 ship also retiring but seems likely to get some replacement later), as that Dreamzzz pirate character so far has not appeared anywhere but build a minifig, not even in game tower. And I think the reason they didn't use a cannon for the Going Merry, was due to how it needs to fire via pulling back, which is harder to integrate compared to a studshooter trigger, which resets itself by inserting ammo from the front. Still, the One Piece cartoon had multiple pirate ships with multiple cannons, that could use the regular cannon piece if they do new sets. (I don't know if they have shown up in the netflix series) Edited July 5 by TeriXeri Quote
brickbride Posted July 20 Posted July 20 (edited) January 2026 set names and prices have leaked. Not one of them's below EUR 50 and one is an actual tank. Way to be child-friendly, LEGO. Are there really parents out there who'd buy their child a EUR 130 LEGO tank? It's like they want to doom this theme. Also I've said it before, but LEGO has soooooo many boy-centric themes and instead of being somewhat gender-equal with their latest in-house theme they've fallen into the same trap here. We get a lot of cool stuff designed to appeal to boys but for girls it's mostly the same (butt-ugly) monstrous bunny thing over and over again. Amazon has lately had Izzy's narwal balloon and and Zoey's cat bike on sale for up to 60% off and I wasn't tempted to buy them even then, the figs and builds really aren't attractive and don't fit in with anything else. (The only cool aspect of the bike is the dual-moulded raven.) And now this latest wave is mech, croc, nightmare scorpion, dino, tank all over again. I'm wondering if LEGO are actually going to take something away from their failure to get enough girls into this theme. Other than "I guess girls don't like action themes/LEGO/minifigs/whatever". 71508 Fox Guardian Mech, USD 80 71512 Crocodile Submarine, USD 70 71513 Nightmare Scorpion Digger, USD 50 71514 Dino Jet, USD 100 71515 Tiger Shark Tank, USD 130 Edited July 20 by brickbride Quote

Like toys like G.I. Joe and Transformers have been hot sellers for decades here, and one in this theme based on a shark is sure to be cartoonier and less analogous to real-world weapons of war than those. And speak for yourself about the sets for Zoey and Izzie—Bunchu is awesome, as are sets like that cool new time owl for Zoey. I wish they'd make some bigger sets for those characters, but seeing as your complaints are also about price, I doubt that's exactly what you're asking for. Quote
Lemerbrix Posted July 24 Posted July 24 I don’t think 71515 is going to be an actual, military style, tank. Could be something like set 70616: ice tank, which looks nothing like a military tank. Lego has called things a “tank” before, but never as in an actual tank. definitely going to get the fox guardian mech, and maybe the submarine too. Quote

Personally I find Bunchu quite hideous but that's of course just my opinion. However it's not just my opinion that we get a lot of Bunchu sets for Izzie and little else, that - as you yourself point out - the girls get fewer sets than the boys, that the girls' sets are more often found on sale than the boys' (including the Bunchu 10-in-1 set whereas the Z-Blob one was well-received, and the Izzie Narwal one which went EOL in December 2024 and therefore shouldn't even be in stock anymore in mid-2025), and that nothing in this last wave sounds like it would particularly appeal to girls who, again, don't get many big sets anyway. So my point about Dreamzzz being unable to appeal to many girls still stands. Edited July 26 by brickbride Quote
