The only lives ruined by a Legorbius set are the wicked punished by Morbius's divine justice.

I look over at the comic Lego Morbius on my shelf. He jumps majestically, bats swarming behind him. The Spider-Man diorama he is on is placed such that he currently appears to be lunging at the neck of Invincible, my only non-purist lego figure. This was unintentional, but as such, he is attempting to purge my collection of impure figures, guarding my hobby in a way no other figures do. And yet his power is limited. He is Morbius, yes, but his comic version is as of yet unable to Morb, or to activate Morbin Time.

See, you get it!

Another punished by the divine hand of vampiric justice, clearly. Morbius even did a civic duty for the method of delivering said justice, confiscating the car from Miles, who doesn't have a driver's license, and as we all know, spider-man shouldn't have a car.

Why are we getting another Quinjet? Didn’t we get one last year or something

For the Millenium Falcon of the MCU, a 2.5 year gap between two with different color schemes in designs isn't all that bad IMO.

I'm actually very excited for my personal future of lego morbius. I've mentioned before I got the morbius set for $12, but IIRC I did not buy the last copy, and since it got that low in the first place, it's not unreasonable to assume no one else in my area could handle the power of the Morb. This means it'll likely show up at my local discount store for LESS than $12, meaning it should be easy to amass a few more Morbii, and with their stock timeline it should pop up sometime in the next few months.

I've been out of the loop, is there another X-Men set coming? Maybe a separate sentinel like how they made had the separate 👾 whale 🐳 monster 👹thingie after the Avengers building? 🏫

There is no confirmed X-Men set coming that we know of. However, there are multiple sets for which we do not have names or descriptions, so it is possible that one of them will be an X-Men set. We just have to wait and see.

I do hope that a Sentinel is included in a cheaper set sometime, as it is a very good build.

I think Avengers Doomsday will have some good sets, only because of Minifigures, Deadpool and Wolverine will show up in it or Secret Wars 100%. rumored heavily they are in Avengers Doomsday, Imagine all the variants and legacy characters we could get in Lego form for the first time

Even Daredevil and Punisher could show up in it, that would be our best bet to get MCU versions of them in Lego

Or Spider-Man 4, there was a plan to have Spidey and Punisher fight Hulk, but that has changed, sounds stupid yet cool

I'm concerned it may end up another scenario where we get concept art that does not match the film. The potential for figures for Avengers Doomsday/Secret Wars is likely going to wind up resulting in us getting a flood of sets released over the next five years or so - similar to how we are still waiting on characters from Avengers: Endgame.

Will be interesting to see how they handle Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars in regards to sets - especially now that they have started doing Final Battle sets.

Not sure what Spider-man 4 becomes, but I imagine we are getting the symbiote suit in either one or more of Avengers Doomsday, Spider-man 4 and Secret Wars.

That way they can use it for conflict with Tobey Spider-man who knows what the black suit is and what it does - and it allows an exploration of Tom's Spider-man's emotional state after the events of NWH.

That's the problem with Lego, when sets for a big movie release, we gotta wait at least 2 years for something that's actually from the movie and wanted (spoiler characters)

No. At least none that we know of.

But there has been no rumour, tease, or anything like that.

76321 set is Spider-Man 2 Train Scene

Source – a.clay.brick

You don't check on this place for a few weeks and then you get hit with news like this. After those updated leaks said the Fantastic Four set is going to be based on the movie instead of the comics, I now have a new most anticipated Marvel set for this year to take its place. I never had any of the Raimi sets as a kid, and missing out on the original train set hurt the most considering I had the chance to get it at Sears in like 2005 but wasn't allowed. I had a few of the Spider-Man 3 sets from Mega Bloks, but it wasn't the same.

I can't believe it took Lego this long to go the Batman route and FINALLY make sets from past movies instead of only focusing on the current live action iteration. I really thought the Tobey Spidey, Ock, and Goblin figures from the Statue of Liberty set would be the only time they'd receive updated minifigures and that would be it, besides Tobey maybe returning for Secret Wars. But this set might've just opened the floodgates of the possibility of Lego making sets from Marvel movies pre-MCU.

If this set sells like gangbusters, and it will, I can just imagine more modernized Raimi trilogy sets on the way with the chance to get minifigures we haven't seen in 20+ years like a proper Green Goblin with an undamaged suit and helmet or a flesh toned Human Spider wrestling outfit. And maybe Lego will get the chance to fix their mistake of losing the Marvel license to Mega Bloks in 2005 and make Spider-Man 3 sets to round out the trilogy. They already sort of dipped their toes in the water with the buildable Sandman figure from last year's NWH expansion set who was technically a Spider-Man 3 character, so they might as well finish the job. And hell, it'll be the one time I'll be happy to get another Venom minifigure if it's the Topher Grace version.

I absolutely cannot wait to see the first pictures of this set, I just hope the Doc Ock minifigure won't just be a reuse of the NWH version and it'll be more accurate to his appearance in SM2 with a dark green/brown coat instead of grey. I won't mind if the Spider-Man figure is a reuse though, it was pretty much perfect and could easily be used again for sets from the 2nd or 3rd films.

I heard rumors that Doomsday will begin filming this March. If so, hopefully we'll get a clearer idea of who will be in the movie, and perhaps some set leaks will hint at their designs. I am also hoping we'll get some idea of set counts for the film in the Summer/Fall.

I'm really excited for the film and hope to get characters we haven't gotten in Lego (Daredevil, Thunderbolts), and with the multiverse element, I hope to get more legacy characters (Deadpool, Wolverine, Blade, Elektra, and hopefully more). Although, Avengers Infinity War had about 30 Marvel characters, and only 2/3 of them got made. Now we have 2-3x that many characters, so I'm worried as to which characters we won't get.

I still like the idea of a Doomsday/Secret Wars CMF series to accommodate for any missing characters and/or designs in the films. Lego, if you're listening . . .

I guess so, I feel like the Millennium Falcon is a lot more iconic than the Quinjet though, maybe that’s just my opinion but I don’t get the hype around it.  After all the last one was pretty perfect imo, they can’t change anything, unless the interior changed drastically? If it did I can’t remember

The last one was a SHIELD Quinjet based on the first Avengers film, with this one including Quicksilver it'll be based on the Avengers Quinjet from AoU which is very different in design all together

(Sadly though the site has upgraded visually, I still can't post a decent photo link, so that will have to do)

LEGO just loves their Quinjets. It's one if the few MCU vehicles that have a recognisable name and have appeared in multiple movies, so it makes sense why they love doing those.

But in the grand scheme of things, it isn't more recognisable than a random ship from a random Star Wars movie—and obviously it's nowhere near the Millennium Falcon.

Exactly, I just feel they could make some other ships we’ve seen over the years.

whats your opinion on Lego giving us a Lego minifigure scale Helicarrier, it might break up the buildings we are getting after all.

You mean minifig-compatible, like the 2020 playset? Because a minifig-scale one would be $10k :laugh_hard: The previous D2C one was microscale

The AoU one is a different ship with a different design and color scheme.

76306 is apparently cancelled according to @Lego_Minecraft_Goat. Was set to include Thor, 2 Outriders and potentially more.

Could have been for Infinity War or Endgame judging by the Outriders I guess.

Not the first time we've had sets that never released, but interesting to hear about a cancellation first before we get the Summer wave names/details. Hopefully we get more info on the sets that are releasing.

I could see a set like the 'Captain America: Civil War: Airport Battle' where we get a full-bodied Sandman constraction figure with a slightly larger build with a reduced figure count of Venom, New Goblin, Spider-man, Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane Watson and J.J.Jameson. Then another set where we get Black-suited Spider-man Vs minifigure-sized Sandman where they can throw in Eddie Brock.

Yeah, should start filming in March as long as nothing is delayed. Still kinda expecting Avengers: Secret Wars to be split into two also, allowing an 'Avengers: Forever' in 2028.

I think if the theme is still popular enough they would circle back to certain films afterwards. Deadpool I think would just be CMF series - unless he has a large role in Avengers: Secret Wars, but I imagine his role will be small and played for comedy so they might just skip him again.

I'd imagine that they'll revisit Thunderbolts if it's popular enough through a legacy set, but personally find the visual element of the film to be a downgrade so perhaps Lego thought the same of the potential for a set. Not entirely sure people would buy figures of them with the looks from the movie.

I wonder if the bad response to the last Thor movie is why Lego cancelled this set, because they don't find Thor to be strong enough to sustain his own sets now, outside of that Ragnarok set. If so, it also doesn't bode well for an Asgard D2C set.

Yes that’s what I meant.😂 I guess how they do a star destroyer but just on a larger scale, maybe a $400-$500 one.

So we’re getting Oscorp, but it’s an 808 piece playset. 4 heroes, 4 villains, no Mr. Negative. Also an Iron Man 2 set with Iron Man and War Machine vs. Hammer Drones.

The rest is pretty standard stuff with some nice inclusions; 18+ Iron Spider and Iron Man busts (interestingly both with minifigures), an Endgame playset with Iron Man, Thor, and Iron Patriot, an AoU Quinjet with Quicksilver (but no Ultron), and a small Captain America vs. Thanos playset.

I'm thinking there are three possible options for the Oscorp set:

1. Comic-based
2. An all-encompassing Raimi Trilogy set - Since the 'good guys' label doesn't specify Superheroes
    • Possible minifig line-up: Spider-Man, Peter (Civilian), Mary Jane, JJJ, Green Goblin, Norman Osborn, Harry Osborn, and either Venom, Sandman, or a Doc Ock reuse
3. Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man tie-in: The building is shown in the trailer and Norman seems to be one of the main characters, and the timing would kinda make sense

The Cap/Thanos set almost seems like they're bringing back Mighty Micros
