As for the room of requirement, this issue is that it was just done in 2023. Definitely, they will do it again, but imagine it would be combined with a part of the castle, mostly based on Half Blood Prince.

For this reason (and the previously mentioned fact that there are a lack of OoTP castle sections to showcase) I would bet we'll see Room of Requirements released as the Dumbledore's Army training room, like the 2020 set.

Finally back to a screen big enough to really digest the leaked images and my sets for comparison.

First thing I noticed was the Main Tower is 38 studs wide versus the Great Hall at 48 studs wide, which seemed pretty substantial but probably dimension correct. It makes me wonder how much they set the set dimensions when they started dreaming up the entire wave. Clearly for angles and connections to work you don't have a lot of flexibility with where the pegs and clips need to be.

I think the weird window Percy is posed in will be the way to connect the Viaduct Entrance to the Main Tower. It is at the right height and close to the right angle for that bridge. It would abandon the peg and clip method for that connection, but otherwise it seems plausible.

Really itching for a leak of the Herbology set to confirm if that hooks into the back of the Flying Lesson set.

I think Umbridge’s office would be perfect for a $20 set like the Charms class, although I’m sure the price on a set like that would be higher next year. A fireplace with a Sirius reveal would be the main feature (I’m shocked we haven’t seen it in the reboot yet when it was there in the 2007 and 2010 castles). Then a removable desk with quill and “I will not tell lies” tile. Add some stickers of cat plates on the walls and it’s solid. It would be a nice and colorful room to include and I think would work well as a solo set. Include figures of Umbridge, Harry and maybe Cho or Filch if the budget stretched that far.

While I‘d be prefer an actual castle expansion based on OotP, this would be a nice solution too! :sweet:

…I didn‘t even realise they haven‘t done that yet! *huh* It’s one of the very few things from the 2010-2011 run they haven‘t remade yet, besides the knight statue and arguably Dobby‘s release (which hasn‘t been a specific set in the current theme, but all the elements to recreate it are there)

They actually have done it yet: It was in the "76409 Gryffindor™ House Banner"-set on the lenticular backboard. As you can see beneath: (source)

Other things that haven't been done yet, since reboot, are:

- Umbridges Office, as mentioned

- Vanishing Cabinet

Another thing that I was thinking was, what could the GWP be. In the last couple of years, the GWP tied in to the Collectors Edition set of that year. IF that's the case this time, there are a few things I could think of:

- The One-eyed statue secret entrance to Hogsmeade.

- A butterbeer card (mostly seen in Universal)

- Entrance to Hogsmeade (from Universal)

- Horse-drawn sleigh, as seen in HP3, when the teachers enters the 3 Broomsticks.

Huh, never noticed it, despite owning the set!! Should‘ve taken a closer look at it :snicker:

Good point! The last few GWP sets were closely linked thematically, so this one will likely be as well :sweet: The vault GWP was a literal extension of Gringotts while the Borgin & Burke set was connected to the Burrow via the floo network, so this one will be similar I imagine. Maybe something related to the Shrieking Shack?

Is it known exactly when we will see the official images? Thanks!

Last year it was 2nd May so hopefully not long now. :classic:

Hard to tell when we don´t even know what is included in the set, yet. The one eyed witch was never displayed in the movies as far as I remember, so I wouldn´t think they will make that one - and I don´t think the universal things are that much more likely, but I really like the idea to get fudge and his sleigh (and maybe Hagrid, if he isn´t already included in the Set?)

Yup, I'm sure that the piece in front of Percy will be removable and provide access to the Stone Bridge that will be placed up against it with a future expansion.

[Edit: Photo Removed]

You can see the bridge connected in the preview/prototype image.

I would recommend removing the first pic since embedding or linking to leaked images is not allowed on EB

Vanishing Cabinet

Huh, it's interesting that they haven't done it. Perhaps when we do eventually see the Room of Requirement ( there's no way that it'll be forgotten since it was part of the first two systems), it will be based on Half-Blood Prince where Harry and Ginny go to hide Snape's potion book and feature the vanishing cabinet. While not the most exciting scene, Lego did do Wingardium Leviosa and it would work as part of a larger castle section.

It is old image of already released sets, you can see the owlery and boat house on the photo. Nothing to be worried about I believe.

I have posted before, that flying lesson set could be that bridge. At least that's what I am thinking, can't see any other purpose for this set or any space it can connect to. But at the other hand it would be weird to release the set in 2025 that will connect with sets released in the future.

It definitely won't be. The Flying Lesson building cannonically goes in the back, plus it doesn't even look anything like the bridge. This is supposed to be the most accurate version of the castle we've ever gotten (and likely will ever get), they won't cut corners like that. Sure they did it with the previous system, but that was a whole different scenario.

It was in the first movie. Plus lego made a set on it during the original poa run, so I think it would be a pretty nice callback to make a new one as gwp.

An image of Quality Qudditch Supplies and Ice Cream Parlor have leaked. Overall looks pretty cute from the front. Does anyone know what they were using for the design of the Quidditch shop? I thought it might have been the universal but that's more along the design of the version in D2C. Is it based off one of the video games or more book inspired?

It also looks like they've made a new piece for the firebolt or nimbuss

Nice to get a store worker for QQS. I wonder what piece they used for the Nimbus 2000 handle, looks new but I'm not certain

I think it’s based of the one at the Warner Studio Tour so the films I’m assuming.

The design for QQS looks like how it appears in Half-Blood Prince film, which is the standing set at the Warner Bros Studio Tour in london.

When they said the shop owner has Sprout‘s hair/hat piece, I didn‘t think they meant literally that piece :laugh_hard: A recolour would’ve been nice, but it’s okay ^^

The new piece for the Nimbus looks cool!

Oh, it is. I couldn't find an image of the studio tour design the first time I tried looking for it.  Google kept showing me universal and products. Thank you.

Knowing the point of reference now, the Quidditch shop looks pretty accurate, just wish the door was a little farther back but at this scale it works.  I think the brown actually works really well and makes for a nice comparison with the other shop sets ( also always disliked the pink used in the D2C even though it was accurate for that design).

Yeah, looking at the picture, it's definitely a crooked handle, so it's not the traditional broom piece or the version used in flying lessons ( well, the broom part might be, but not the stick).

Was there a description of this set that had leaked?

I have trouble to read the names of the minifigs, Ron, Cho and Florian are obviously, but what are the others, does it just say 'shop keeper' for the shopkeeper, and do I read Katie Bell and Alicia Spinnet?

Can't make out the word after "Shop"  but Alicia & Katie are the other two.

The Herbology Greenhouse is nice but I think I'll be needing several to make it look much bigger & better.
