Or never again? It seems that BATMAN is way bigger than DC itself. LEGO has always put effort for Batman: Movie, Videogames, own theme and all movie related products. DC is not so important - BUT batman is.

LEGO had opportunity to make whole wave of Superman sets but they choose to make 1 small mech...?

Good idea, what'd be your dream wave of Batman sets?

The disguises will go on cartoon logic, he never takes off the cowl, just haphazardly paints logos onto his batsuit, maybe a wig is involved

we all know that Batman is DC shining light. that new iron man mark 3 set for next year is fire. hopefully we get a Batman one and a half bust as well for good measure.

I'm hopefully we get at least 4 sets, I mean dooms day is not out until December 2026, hell Marvel themselves have a ongoing script that is continuously changing, .

would love to see sets based on the game and some sets for Supergirl and green Lantern.

I don't think there's much more on the horizon this year (or at all..). DC was frontloaded in 1HY this year as well, the overall number of sets revealed so far is consistent with what we've been getting from the theme, and Marvel has both a spider-man and an avengers movie releasing this year. The quality of doomsday as a film (or lack thereof) won't change the fact that it's going to eat up a lot of budget.

You know what I mean. Look what Marvel just got... January :/

To be fair this is them respecting the source material, in 1993 Joker destroyed the concept of January to mess with Bruce Wayne's new years party and the DC universe has lived with 11 months in the year ever since.

I don’t think you understood what I was asking for. But you did understand how Lego would interpret my request.

This might sound crazy but when I first saw that Arkham Asylum modular... it reminded me of TDK prison. Black Gate where Bane and Batman fight.

Given that for the last few years, LEGO DC  Batman ft. Superman has had 4-5 sets a year, if we were to get 1-2 more sets next year beyond the 4 March sets, what do you all see them being?

I could MAYBE.. MAYBE see us getting a Lex Mech with Supergirl set in the summer as an indirect tie in to the Supergirl movie, but I think that's 50/50.

But Honestly, as much as this would pain me, I feel like the other set we could get next year is a Smart Brick Batcave with Batman, Joker, Harley, and Two Face (since one of the designers hinted he would appear in a future set, but it most likely is going to end up being a monkey's paw).

I'm still bedazzled to why there has been no booknook released for the theme.

Nah. They might do a $10 Lobo or Robin bike with Supergirl as a 2nd figure now that price point exists.

I will never give up my hope for a GL mech.

I’m not sure if you belong in the Aslume or the Blue Lanterns.

I just don't think there's any reason to expect more. Their big anniversary wave literally only includes Batmen.

If you look at the themes that have received book nooks, they're all ones that are famous for written prose books (LOTR, Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes). It's important to note that we haven't had, say, a Marvel book nook either, so it's not a case of ignoring DC, it's just that they're currently limiting the subline to IPs most known for book books and not most known for comics, or as they seem to think DC is, movies.

It's an M-rated show, definitely the Aslume, but honestly pretty much everyone belongs in the aslume at this point. The designers belong in the aslume.

It would be cool for Lego to try out the ‘Epic Moments’ for DC as well. A nice change from old movie Batmobiles they could recreate some cool scenes. I could also see this as a way to get some Superman sets. Like an Epic moments Superman vs Ultraman or The Justice Gang Vs kajiu.
