I randomly checked jedijacpenguin‘s 2026 list and saw that there‘s apparently a fourth DC set coming in March (76333, $29.99) :excited: That‘ll make it the largest DC wave we‘ve seen in a while!

We’re experiencing unprecedented levels of ‘we’re so back’ never felt before. It also adds prices for the Previous sets. The tag for the 678 piece set is Batman and not DC. Not that I think the other sets will be general DC. Guessing a balance of comic sets and Movie sets (loose tie-in with game)

So we’re getting: a 2 minifig polybag, 1 12+ Gimmick (definitely either a Batman Bust or buildable 1989 bat symbol) and 3 $30 sets.

Realistically, only one of these should be a Batmobile (Speed champions style Battinson remake for the game likely imo.) So maybe one of these could be a comic based set for all of next year’s content.

Scratch that. Most Speed champions are 9+ so that lends some credence to the Battinson idea.

A $30 Justice Gang comic based battlepack with: Supergirl, Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl and Mr Terrific would honestly go a long way. Add a villain of some sort, even if it’s buildable. Maybe Zod, Sinestro or Braniac? Great way to just do 1 set that can work as a tie in for most of next year’s content. Build could be a GL construct (Mech!!), Terrific’s chair and something villainy.

Same with a GL battlepack since 2 shows are releasing next year with 2 sets of leads. Kyle, Jessica, John and Hal. But Guy in a Justice Gang pack would still be enough Lantern representation.

Batwing vs Joker

Batmobile vs Two Face*

Batboat vs Penguin

Take it or leave it

I think if we do get a logo or Bat-symbol, they’ll include 1 or 2 Arkham characters in normal outfits. Along with maybe Clayface. To get people more likely to buy it. Kinda like including Mark 6 and first Avenger Cap in marvel one. Joker would be a given. I could also see them doing a Bruce/Batman transformation feature in it as the gimmick of the set

I’m guessing we will see movies sets as well, I think the Battinson Batmobile is quite likely and maybe the smallest set is Bat-Pod

When do you guys think we'll get set names for DC

Would love a Batpod with Bane,Catwoman, Batfleck Batmobile and a new Battinson Batmobile

But ideally I'd like more comic based sets with more location based stuff but what I listed is more realistic, Batmobile,Batmobile,Batmobile

Since they‘ll release in March, I‘d say around October

My guess is two Batvehicles (one of which being a Batmobile), a location (comic-based), and a set without minifigs. No logo though, since that would be an 18+ set, but a buildable figure or object of some sort would make sense.

A DC wave with four minifig sets sounds too good to be true

30$ hmmmmm, we only have 2 options, batmobile or buildable figure, I despise the buildable figures so much I'd rather have all the sets be different batmobiles

My biggest fear is a Mech 2 pack with Man and Jonkler

I expect it to be raised to 35$ as well, I know well it isn't the final price

Other than Battinson I can’t think of too many Batmobiles that would fit speed champions. Perhaps Adam West or The Batman (2004). Guess they could pull from the comics

Batfleck too

Now with Jared Leto Joker, even though including Jared Leto in a Bat-themed set is obviously a Morbius reference.

Honestly, the 9+ age rating and $30 price suggests to me these are Speed Champions style sets. Battinson Batmobile and some other vehicle.

I think you're 100% on the money. I think it's three new small batmobiles.

Pattmobile (from the game)- I'd guess with Penguin again, though given they've managed to get the batmobiles back down to $30 I wouldn't be surprised if it's just batman in the set.

Batfleck Gunmobile- If we get a second figure, I'd hope it's Cavill's superman, but again, the price is too reasonable for a 2025 batmobile for me to expect multiple figures.

Third one I'm not as certain on. It's been a minute since the '66 batmobile, but not THAT long. And I'd be shocked if it was a new Keatonmobile or Tumbler. Maybe it's a comic batmobile, which I think would be our first bog-standard, not 4+, retail set based on the comics since.... 2020? Unless you count the mechs, I guess.

Immediate purchase, and not even because the Batfleck batmobile is a cool elseworlds design. I have the Morbius figure. I need to collect his brother Jokorbius.

I think the last minifigure scale '66 Batmobile came out in 2021. I think a five year gap between releases seems reasonable for a design that is pretty iconic.

Of course, I wouldn't mind if they surprised me and went with a design that hasn't been done before, like one of the Arkham Batmobiles...

That‘d be the fourth 66 Batmobile in 10 years! :laugh_hard: I wouldn‘t put it past them, but we‘d be deep in Luke’s Landspeeder territory with that one :snicker: I‘d only be okay with that if it actually came with Robin this time.

I quite like the idea of a small collection of Batmobiles, even though we already sorta get that on a regular basis anyway :shrug_oh_well:

*sigh* If only they didn’t ignore the DCU…

are the star wars and marvel logos 12+ or 18+?

Marvel’s is 12+. SW’s is 18+.

Funny thing is… there hasn’t been a play-scale Luke’s Landspeeder in almost 6 years. In that time we’ve had 4 play-scale X-Wings and 6 different hulkbuster types.

I’m probably in the minority here, but I’d be surprised if we got another Pattinson Batmobile a year and a half before the next movie drops. IMO, if they did have a set planned, they would probably hold off. (Also, and this should go without saying, but game designs are very rarely an indicator of future sets and minifigures. Heck, as others have pointed out, the Tumbler in the game doesn’t match either of the last two, and I really doubt we’ll get one next year given we already have one on the shelf).

And although I kinda started this (as a joke), I doubt we’d get three Batmobiles released at the same time. We’ve often had multiple Batmobiles on the shelf at the same time, but I can’t think of a time we got even two Batmobiles released together (except when one was 4+). Releasing three Batmobiles at the same time, same age range, same price sounds like a perfect way to cannibalize sales.

I think we’ll probably see 3 Bat-vehicles, but not all the same. IMO, here’s the two different set lineups I think we could see:

1. Batmobile, Batwing, and Batboat all based on the comics, each with a different villain. One of those villains is Clayface.

2. A movie Batmobile (either Pattinson or Affleck, with Riddler or Superman respectively), The Bat from Rises with Bane and Catwoman, and a comic Batboat or Batcopter with Clayface.

And then the last set would be the Batman logo with Batman, Robin, Catwoman, Joker, and Harley Quinn.

I think one of the main reasons they didn’t use the new Tumbler is it not being a two seater. It appears that every vehicles is made for the second character to hop in. As we constantly see Jim trying to jump in or glitch across the map to get in 😂 There’s usually big overlap between games and sets like 2015 we got the massive Justice League wave and Batman 3 came out a few months before. So I’m expecting more tie-ins than comic sets. Although I’d prefer getting the Arkham minifigs in normal outfits and a new Two-face

two face must be in the game. a new design maybe?

As Marvel's logo was 12+, i think it's very likely that DC/Batman will get one as that seems to fit. Marvel had 5 figures. Batman, robin, joker, harley, clayface -we can hope.

You can see his Henchmen(Rip Goons) in some of the gameplay, they look to be based on Batman: Forever. There was also a Harvey Dent poster which was also based on Forever. So safe to assume he’s in the game. But for a minifig I want the classic black and white one remade 🤞🏻

Yeah it wouldn't be an absurd remake, but at the same time it hasn't been long enough for me to think a new one's imminent.

I doubt we get an officially branded Hammobile, though a generic/comic one clearly meant to represent it like 2020's bat-tank seems entirely possible.

As they say in the midwest when you go a summer without a tornado... we're overdue.

Though with the landspeeder, it's honestly been long enough I wouldn't complain much about a new one. Ideally they could throw in a brick-built dewback or something, though.

That movie's been in such delay purgatory I wouldn't be surprised if they either gave up and decided to just release some in-the-works vehicle or think it'll be so long before the actual release that they'll have time to make another. But I agree, it's no sure thing.

Though I also wouldn't be surprised if they at least had some concept art at this point showing that Bruce'll have a new batmobile in part ll. We're definitely seeing a batman who's still in the process of making his equipment, and the Pattmobile has an unfinished vibe. I wouldn't be surprised if we got a sleeker vehicle in the sequel.

Rip Goons

We have to bring back to the public consciousness the correct meaning of goon. Though I also wouldn't be opposed to using Mooks, Thugs, or Lackeys. Henchmen's the formal term, but what's your average Dick Tracy gonna call the guys working for the mobsters he fights?
