Don't do scale ship modelling with Lego bricks & pieces ... IMHO it just doesn't look good.

I’m pretty sure it’s just me, because iv seen nothing but support for the titanic set, this and the yacht set from a few years ago. But I just have no interest in non pirate ships released by the company, especially in micro scale.

Agreed. If you want a scale model to sit on a shelf with little play value, using Lego pieces is probably not optimal, clever though it is.

The sails and flag are nice but otherwise this ship is a wasted opportunity. If they made a minifig scale sailing ship from the Napoleonic War era or earlier it would have a much broader appeal. This thing is just hideous.

Displayability, and the cloth sails and flag are great. 
Modifications: Easy to do to make Her a Pirate/Trading vessel.
Price: Not for me. I´ll happily skip this simply because of it.

Looks quite good, but it's not compatible with minifigures. I don't enjoy a ship without minifigures. I bought Lego 21350 Jaws.

It looks a very nice model, but for the price tag, I'd rather just get more parts for my own builds. That said, it is good to have some new colours and more parts in the ecosystem.
