Hello. I haven't posted anything for a long time but this model should find an informed audience here. So here's my Lego brick version of the GI Joe train produced by the Tyco company in 1983... no, there weren't just dinosaurs on earth at the time. If you know this vintage toy (otherwise go look on Google), you'll notice that it was not intended (at all) for the famous 3-3/4 figurines and some enthusiasts could say that therefore it is not a real toy of the line and that it does not touch their nostalgia. But in our bricks world things are different, we builders (yes I'm talking about you), are free to create models from whatever we want and make them compatible with our beloved figurines or any other scale. Anyway, here are the images, I hope you like them... otherwise go buy some Playmobil? ;D
The train have cool features like the deploying container / outpost and access to the caboose interior with communication post. One last thing the locomotive is motorized and can drag the wagons easily, I just need to make a video to show.

You can find larger photos on my website www.baronsat.net

Everything done in true Baronsat style, very nicely done. Absolutely loving the container.

Thanks. It's been a very fun build and container a last momlent idea, It was just a box but I thought it was boring so a few hours later (sometimes small things takes time) I ended up with that one.

Thanks. I love this picture, I saw it a million times but the colors are so vibrants and the action so epic I can't stop watching it, it's a whole world in one pic. That bridge should have special feature like it transform into a robot or a giant bug ;D

And you made it even better by turning it into LEGO :) (TLG might have a different opinion on that but never mind ;))

Sounds nice to my ears :) es they don't like military and weapons... except for Star Wars and some other licensed lines....

Wonderful reimaging of the old GI Joe train in LEGO format. Making the command centre work and the riveted look to the caboose are great.

Different scale toys bothered me when I was a kid but I can solve that now with bricks ;D Yes, some wagons were more interesting to create than others.
