2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]

Anyone pre-order the new wolfpack set? I believe that's the worst lego.com purchase experience I've ever had. Wouldn't accept my. Card. It would put multiple sets in my check out, and then say I exceeded limit. Wow.

Yes, I had a similar issue. I believe LEGO's website was having an issue in the first hour of the BDP launch. It added an item to my cart but then would not let me check out. Same problem with adding multiple sets when refreshing.

 

I just waited an hour and then it was fixed and I was able to order as normal.

It finally went thru. Had to use my wife's account and PayPal. Frustrating to say the least.

I had 5 mins of ‘something went wrong’ every time I clicked from the cart to pay, but eventually it worked. Without being an expert, it seems like things are around for longer these days, whereas with the Castle in the Forest a few years ago, it really did feel like every second of delay might result in it being sold out. I know they produce more now, but I do feel like there’s another round so often it doesn’t have the same ‘excitement’. I only remembered today’s release because of a afol account on social media. On the flip side, I guess it does mean that if you really want one of the sets, you’re unlikely to miss out!

Bricklink Designer Program.  You have to access it through Bricklink or the links that are posted on several other websites.

Thanks for clarification! @Shroffy123 said “worst Lego.com purchase experience” in his post on this page. It was the first thing I read after posting my wish.

I got it, and had the same checkout frustration with it failing, but an hour later it all worked smoothly. I think the build looks great, so really looking forward to it. Having said that, I still haven't built my Castle in the Forest set yet, although I am starting to make positive progress on my backlog at the moment.

Lot's of good looking castle stuff on BDP series 9.  There is a lot of Kraken stuff on there.  Just did a quick look at all the sets.  I will try to take a deeper dive tonight to see what ones I will vote for.

I think it's going to take me a few days to look through all the BDP9 sets and cast my votes.  I'm on the third page of 24 and started getting cross-eyed so had to stop for a while.  There seems to be an awful lot of just so-so castle sets and not much detail in the interiors of some sets of all styles, not just the Castle stuff.  While some sets look somewhat interesting many aren't really anything I'd be wanting to actually purchase.

Well, we will see what kind of Castle set Lego will bring us in 2026 other than BDP.
