That's cool.  Are those tail pieces with the space logo used in Classic Space sets, or did those appear later?  Also wonder about the small 1x transparent yellow pieces on the top.  What set/sets did those appear in?  I've not seen those before.

That piece appeared once on set 6883 and later on Benny's Spaceship x3 with stickers

Thanks, I missed that part on 6883 Terrestrial Rover.  I don't have that set yet!

What about those small translucent yellow pieces on the top?

They are alternative light covers for X-T Starship Light and Sound set 6780.

The set uses the red and green covers but also included the yellow ones as well.

It was one of my favorite sets when I was a kid

Ah, another set I don't have, yet!  I'll get more familiar with the parts once I complete my Classic Space collection.  Over half way there!

Those covers came in the 3 Space Light and sound sets. And you need to update your Lego Collection.

Nice! This would have been a highly desirable set if it existed. It's like a beefed up version of 1580 Lunar Scout. Or a smaller version of 6928 Uranium Search Vehicle.

Thanks with your comment and I agree 100% with your opinion.
Some fans on the comunity have label it as a "Lost" Classic Space set. Although it's not an official Lego design.
