I am hoping that the lack of supercars to choose from would mean that they will have to start using them in 1:10 models as well :) Hopefully with the new parts they can fit into smaller models. Agreed. I was mainly thinking of that the list of available candidates for us to speculate about will decrease. :) They might very well start using older cars as template for the future 1:8 series cars though. Maaboo the Witch Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Wonder if the header on the Deere forager is gonna use yellow diff gears. Quote

Maaboo the Witch Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 (edited) @1gor, @artemisovsky, People! I'm talking about this part: It'd look good if used for the blades on the header. Edited September 2, 2023 by Maaboo35 Moar image Quote
1gor Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 @Maaboo35, if front wheels would be 81mm (from Zetros); I'm affraid they are too small, but idea is very good actually My idea is something like this, but it seems to big... Quote

I actually think the 9700 will be in scale with the 9R. I know it's 500-odd parts, but 42121 has that amount, and it's pretty small. Quote

I also thought that this years 948 would be based on Zetros tires due to parts count... Quote

Anyway, all of the above speculation on my part is assuming it even has a corn forage-type header. It might be the hay/grass type. Quote

Again, I highly doubt that. The 42136 has 390 pieces, the tractor itself only 280 pieces. Even with more function elements and the front attachment I don't see how to squeeze in 280 pieces more. For me I really hope and anticipate the bigger wheel combination ;-) I have some time after work today to make a sketch of the model with 81 tires :-) 12 hours ago, 1gor said: This is also possible... This would be kind of boring in contrast to a more present mechanism of the corn forage harvester ;-) Edited September 4, 2023 by Jundis Quote

Plus, I'd think the header would take up quite a percentage of the part count. Quote

Ok, if it would include a trailer (which could also be attached to the Deere 9R), then I can see it happen in this scale. Quote
Lego Tom Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 (edited) I wonder if they have considered imitating real life by selling the tractor by itself then the various attachments as separate kits? Edited September 4, 2023 by Lego Tom Quote

Jundis Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 (edited) Something like this with 81 parts so far: - Main wheels drive the front mower unit, which can also be lifted. Other functions are steering and movement of arm. Edited September 4, 2023 by Jundis Quote
1gor Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 I think hubs are too expensive for such scale, but otherwise to achieve narrow (enough) it would need 2 axles 5.5 with stop... Nice, start... Quote

Considering other tire for this wheel(56891 and 35578) size will be 37 x 16 or 37 x 18. Quote

Thirdwigg Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 @Jundis I would love this kind of tractor. Maybe I need to make one no matter what TLG does. Quote

There used to be a pattern of just after Christmas we'd see "leaked" images of the second half sets but now there doesn't appear to be much of a pattern to it, other than being about a month before release at the earliest.
