This looks exciting!

To give us some perspective on size, what are the measurements of that layout?

So far it is 10 baseplates wide by 4 deep, though I think we'll need to add more water baseplates to fit more ships! The little squares are 4x4 studs, and the big squares are 32x baseplates

Thank you for those details.

How many builders will be participating?  And where is display likely to be presented?

Made a little initial progress on the island/peninsula in A3

And some progress on one of the round towers for the fort (Likely C1)

Great topic! I like the little island and the tower. Thank you for the instructions on how to build the tower. Interesting and good construction.

Started mapping out the underlying plates for B3 and C3

Also removed most of the white 1x1 round plates and replaced them with stadium tiles and jumpers. This will help the walls not look quite as weathered, but retain some texture

I'm really diggin this tower technique. Are the small veritcal sections with the cheese slopes attached to the rest in any way, or are they just floating?

Just floats in there, though the cheese slopes wedge it sufficiently so that it doesn't move at all when picked up.

I always love seeing these huge builds using duplo blocking to pack out space.
You builders are very very talented and that beach area looks great!

Fleshed out the wet sand portion of the beach a bit more, added water tiles and a dock, and capped the remaining DUPLO bricks with system bricks. Next us to the beach and cliffs!
