Lego Minecraft 2023, leaks, rumors and discussion

The Minecraft movie sets have been revealed!  The mobs do have different prints than their game-based counterparts  I really like the look of these two sets, and there‘s our first Jack Black minifig!

I do like the Village attack set. But the woodland mansion is hmm, odd.

Pain. The zombie looks especially bad. The others work but I'd rather they fit in with the regular Minecraft stuff. The Ghast and Chick are normal Minecraft style though so that's good.

Strange how both sets include some kind of giant chicken.

Now I‘m wondering whether at least one of the summer sets might also be based on the movie. The two March sets cover all the main characters, but I wouldn‘t mind to have skeletons, creepers, cows, sheep, and llamas in the movie style as well

The face print is actually perfect! I love it when face prints really capture an actor’s likeness given how abstract and simplified minifigures are.

Couldn‘t agree more! It‘s always such a delight when they capture likenesses this well  Jack Black was well overdue for a minifig, but there are still so many famous actors who never had one!

And the final March set has also leaked! The parrot houses look adorable, and I‘m glad they included not only four parrots, but also a dancing play feature for them! Too bad there‘s only one new colour for them, but I‘ll take it ^^

Fingers crossed! Love the concept  Since it has quite the life cycle, it‘ll be interesting to see if they recreate all stages, especially the harnessed one with goggles!

Nope, I guess nobody really cared about lego minecraft, I had saw that nobody had made the 2023 fourm when I created this, and I guess I'm just way to lazy to fix it.

@Clone OPatra can we change the title of this Fourm to  "lego minecraft leaks, rumors, and discussion"

I wouldn't say I care about it much but I do like some of the sets, especially the 10 euro ones and natural structures like mineshafts,villages,caves,dungeons,  I do like houses too but only ones that aren't animal style, basically houses like The First Night and stuff

Could anyone list the upcoming sets for June ? and when would we get pictures ? I'm looking forward to the Warden set and the Illager Outpost

The Enderman Tower includes two Endermen, two player minifigs, and two Endermites! About time we finally get some of these!  And the enchantment table is finally back!!

The build itself is an Enderman-shaped tower with a Nether portal in its head and parts of two Nether biomes (crimson forest & warped forest), interestingly enough! I never expected a Nether-based Enderman set

Am I the only person to wish Lego Endermen were regular minifigures with long arm and leg pieces (like Avatar and old Toy Story ones)? Sure, they wouldn't be able to hold blocks in their hands like they do now, yet something tells me that would be a better solution. Besides , new hand/arm pieces could be designed to allow holding blocks for such minifigures

I dunno, I quite like the Lego Endermen as they are. Maybe they could do that for a movie Enderman?

My issue with official Lego Endermen is that they are too tall and, as it seems to me, a little too flat. 

My suggestion, though, also has its flaws - I didn't take in account that Endermen have thinner legs

I was almost thinking about buying the old enchantment table from Bricklink, the tile piece is 19$, I'm so glad I didn't

In the game they are 1.5 times taller than the player. Their Lego figures are, like, almost 2 times taller than an ordinary minifigure. It looks weird

They are indeed a bit too tall, but I think it’s too late now. We’re all so used to the current design, a minifig one might just look super cursed!

Looks like the Enderman and the Zombie got busy and he's their lanky hybrid son . I think it would probably look less out of place if it wasn't juxtaposed by the current one.

Just built the newish Trial Chamber set, and I really like it, particularly how they made the oxidised copper bulbs appear dimmer than the regular ones with the black bracket used behind trans yellow vs a white bracket for the brighter-looking ones, but I just don't understand why the breezes are missing their iconic eyebrows! Particularly disappointing considering we're probably not getting them again for the next several years, and inexplicable considering the eyebrows weren't a late addition to the breeze's design or anything. Anyone know what might've happened here?
