A picture of the set leaked, and turns out it’s just the controller  The Genesis logo is a sticker, so they might include a Megadrive one too, but we’ll see ^^

To be honest, I think just the controller is better. If they tried to do the whole thing it would be a pretty simple black box at this scale. The controller is nicely done and can be added to the Ideas Green Hill Zone very well.

The Genesis controller is cute! Probably won't get it since I was a Nintendo kid growing up and haven't been collecting Sonic sets, but it's cool that this is joining the NES, Game Boy, and Atari.

Just built the Genesis/Megadrive controller and hadn’t realised before that it comes with stickers for the UK, US, and JP versions as well as extra tiles to place them on!

So, with the release of Crossworlds around the corner, who else do y'all think will get their own car set next year? or atleast be included alongside another character with their own

3 pack of the Babylon Rogues on Extreme Gear would be nice to see. Even if I don't care that much for them as characters.

But if we are getting Silver. Blaze should be next to go alongside him

I'd be perfectly happy with just Jet and Blaze, but it would be fun if we had a set based on that Team Shoot-out gamemode it's going to have. Something like a "Tails' Crash and Bash" set with him, his vehicle, a few in-game items and a pair of egg-pawns and their vehicles to smash

Apparently Cream was the third most used character during the closed network test for Crossworlds earlier this year, so I don't think she'd be a bad choice for a car set.

Any chance of these sets being revealed soon?  Super curious to see Silver!! I hope they do him justice as they've done with the others so far!

I believe the sets are releasing in January, which means we should be seeing them soon. I think a lot of other themes have been revealing early.

I would'nt be surprised at this point if they are not going to get an early reveal and instead are just added to the Lego website on January and our first look at them is someone finding them on shelves early.

I hope this isnt the last wave of Sonic sets, if they can keep going until Sonic Movie 4 in 2027 then maybe we'd get partial tie-in sets.

I don't imagine this theme being canned anytime soon, we still have a handful of other characters and locations to get

To be completely honest, I hope they revisit that Egg Pawn sometime soon since that thing could have been a great little minifigure you could easily put in sets as opposed to an oversized brick build, especially since the retirement of the one set it's in is around the corner

(Other than that, I REALLY want a Vector minifigure in the summer)

I'd lean to us getting Blaze and probably a set with Super Silver.

Most themes generally get 2-3 years and are extended based on popularity/sales. Unsure but I could see them do Silver, Blaze and Super Silver for 2026 and that be the end of it.

If it did go into 2027 then they'd probably have loose movie/game tie-in sets based on Sonic CD/Heroes that would work with the popularity of Sonic Movie 4.

The list hasn’t surfaced yet, but I suppose it’ll drop soon since we’ve seen the 2HY lists for most themes now. Animal Crossing for instance is also missing ^^

Considering this is the 35th anniversary of the franchise, I'd certainly hope there's more than one set coming. This seems like an ideal opportunity for the theme to be putting out extra sets, or even a CMF series.

I appreciate the optimism, but based on what exactly?  They‘ve consistently introduced or or two new characters each year, and we already just had Silver. I‘d say there‘s probably only one additional new character (or major variant) coming this summer ^^

Certainly not this year. The 3rd series this year is based on an upcoming movie of a franchise we‘ve never had sets before
