Nice collection.
I see you keep boxes as well. ;)
For the dust problem, I bought a tall glass cabinet for that, so I have roughly a third the display space you use.
All the rest of the collection is in parts or closed cupboards.

I do hope to find at some point another display cabinet with more interior space, but those with substantial depth (as your cupboard) rarely come with front glass panels.

Most of the sets i bought after coming out of my dark ages 10 years ago when Hobbit/LOTR came out. Started with just complete sets with instructions and then moved to sets including boxes as well. Sealed stuff still bit too expensive. :)

Yes depth was the deciding factor for me as well since to fit the expanded Helm's deep i required 60 cm.

Well, I really didn’t plan on the thread being derailed by house sizes, lol. I was just hoping to see pics of how people have their castles displayed.

Based on how people have been talking about the scale differences between sets, I had imagined that a lot of people have large tables with whole landscapes set up or something. I figured my shelving situation would be kind of boring by comparison.

I can’t believe there that many people who have the space to have a ‘city’ style castle get-up with all their Castles spread across a table.

shelves seem most likely. I suppose the scale thing is when you’ve got something like the Black Smith literally next to a castle that it towers over.

Here is my collection… Obviously main problem of this setup is the dust... :)

Nice! I like how deep those shelves are. My Helms Deep ramp hangs off of the shelf.

EDIT: is that an Osgiliath MOC I see? Looks cool.

Nor can I. Which is part of the reason I started this thread.

These are the ones I have set up in my apartment right now.  Not much room, so I have to squeeze my dioramas into whatever space fits.  If I had the room, I would definitely space them out and not have all the minifigs so cramped in every display.

And this is right behind me in the apartment that I'm currently in.  We make due with what little space we can afford :P.

Yes, though not my design. :) I bought instructions from Legomocloc on mocsmarket.com. Besides Fall of Osgiliath i got Harlond Port, Ithilien Ambush (built Oliphant only) and Watcher in the water from the same guy. And couple years back i put together Minas Tirith based on RAKRONDEWL Lego Ideas design after he published the instructions.

I love it! All the stuff that should have been made.

I love all of these mash-ups, from the Fright Knights hanging out in that Monster Fighters castle (of course), to a rather Christmassy-looking Medieval Blacksmith (not to mention the Ninjago characters attacking the Black Monarch's Castle?) Great stuff here. Reminds me of some of the old LEGO catalogues and promotional images.

Sorry bad wording, no instructions just LDD file he shared after his submission expired.

Yop, still "salty" how Lego handled this license.
