I was keeping them until official release but postponeded a bit due to high workload... There is my variant of the rear side that I made when the leaked images incuded only the front of the car.

640x480.png 640x480.png

It a bit longer than official model due to 5*3 fairings panels mounted horizontally to make the inclined taillights panel and also inclined bottom of the bumper.

Now I'm happy with the looks of the set

Did you change something at the front? Looking at this angle I would say it looks amazing, not such a donkey as other reviews show it. :look:

I moved the whole headlight assembly 1 plate higher. This, combined with new a-pillars and mirrors, makes a difference in overall look of the model.

With hinging the upper "eyebrow" a bit higher? Now I see it has a different position but possibly I'm just visually mistaken.

Thank you for the mod. This will my next project :)

Could you please check the part list on rebrickable?
I cannot see the house of the differential, I don't know if are there others missing in the compare list.

When I try to import the XML to bricklink, it complains about the part "65304". Is that ok to repace that with "32054"?

Thanks for the notification. Indeed the differential is missing. It was unrecognized when I imported the model from Studio. I've added it.

Yes they are the same. The 65304 is the code for the new mold of that same pin with bush..

Would you know the part numbers for the A-Pillars and the parts to connect them to the roof and hood?  I'd like to order these parts but not sure how to find their names.  Thanks in advance.

I received a new replacement sticker sheet after complaining to customer service about the color mismatch and to my surprise there is now a brighter lime and darker blacks version with a new ID: 6362705. Sadly the print quality is not as sharp as the initial version.
This shows that if enough people complain about the NOK quality they are willing to improve it. I don't know whether or not this sticker sheet will be included in newer batches or only available as replacement parts, but I wonder if other sets will get the same treatment (e.g. the Vespa which suffers the same problem).

The question is: is this new lime color of the stickers actually closer to lime color of the parts?

And why do they need our complaints to do them better, having already a quality control office who should do this job?

I got my box today (yes, I'm tooo late ) and it has the "old" number on the sticker sheet (10100106 / 6400575), like yours on the left side but I cannot complain about the Lime Color quality:

  • The Lime is now a perfect match for the ABS parts (I see no "bluish-lime" shade as was shown here by other builders) - like the right image
  • The Gray-shaded images are light enough, like on the left image, I see no "deteriorated print quality" in comparison to other sets.
  • The "paper" is somehow different - it looks like not glossy white paper but more like a kind of very thin white plastic.

To recap, it seems TLG made a 3rd variant - a new revision of the 1st one, but with corrected lime color.

I may pick this set up for christmas, I have 4 low profile tires (85345), and they are slightly larger than the sets original tires.

The only problem is, it's a duplo part so there's not many rims that fit the tires and look nice.

20201217_083514.jpg

The rims need to be exactally 4L in diameter just like a 4x4 round brick is.

They will still fit under the wheel arches and should look cool.
