Teh6 Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Hello everyone, you are on the Teh6 channel, and today I will present you a Bicycle with an unusual suspension. (softwheel bike) The essence of this homemade bike is to make a suspension inside the wheel, which actually I did. Quote
Jurss Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Didn't thought, that this would be possible with lego. You did it! Isn't that axle pin connector pushed off that axle hub conector with 3 axles? Quote
Jundis Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Basic idea of wheels are great, but the chassis should be more sturdy Quote
howitzer Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 I've never seen a bicycle with the sprockets and chain on the left side, rather than right. And yeah, the frame looks a bit flimsy, but other than that, great work! Quote
2GodBDGlory Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Very cool idea! 8 hours ago, howitzer said: I've never seen a bicycle with the sprockets and chain on the left side, rather than right. Разве этот соединительный штифт оси не отталкивается от конусной втулки оси с 3 осями? Thank you very much) I don't know how I did it myself :) The structure is really worth strengthening) On 30.10.2021 at 15:54, Jundis said: Основная идея с колесами хороша, но шасси должно быть более прочным. Thank you very much, I agree with the cavity that the model turned out to be flimsy) On 30.10.2021 at 16:07, howitzer said: Я никогда не видел велосипед со звездочками и цепью с левой стороны, а не с правой. И да, рамка выглядит немного хлипкой, но в остальном - отличная работа! There is a bmx with an asterisk on the left side :) Yes, the frame really should be strengthened!) Quote
Zerobricks Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Great idea with the wheel suspension. It might steal the idea for a supercar or such where you need low travel and high force, and you get rid of the issues with CV joints, etc... Quote
Void_S Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Just in case, the full story of a "softwheel" with in-wheel suspension: https://www.softwheel.technology/technology I never imagined any chance to see it in LEGO in such a small scale. Well done! Quote

Отличная работа! Thanks a lot! ;)) Quote
gyenesvi Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 Interesting wheel construction, at first I did not realize it has no rim.. but it still looks well shaped. Quote
