I think I placed my order - just before the top of the hour. Had a confirmation email, so probably fine, but the LEGO website crashed whilst trying to load the confirmation screen during the order process.

Ah, but it's there in the order page. Hurrah! Really looking forward to these ones.

That's good news to be honest. This is my favourite series and I may not be able to get online immediately, so hopefully it increases the chances of things not selling out.

One hour in and Adventures in Transylvania is already at 67% sold.  Thieves at Tortuga 62%; Popcorn Wagon 41%; Mushroom Village 31%; Antique Shop 23%.

I'm wondering what those percentages mean, now the 30k limit has been removed? Presumably that is a % of 30,000, but when/if it reaches that level it will still be purchasable

The funded line by transylvania is at 7,5% while by Antiqueshop it is at 10%. We know that the product get funded at 3000 units. So that means that Transylvania now has an increased capacity by 10.000 units for a total of 40.000.

Edit: Popcorn Wagon has the line at 8,82 so that now has an increased capacity by around 4000 for a total of 34000.

If anyone is curious, both Mushroom Village and Thieves of Tortuga remain at 10% so no increase in production of those sets.

I just refreshed the page and it looks like all the production limits just got adjusted.

the bars for all the sets all got more availability added it looks like.

From what I've seen Thieves of Tortuga got a bump to 40K and Transylvania is up to 50K all the rest stayed at 30K

First designer program purchase, Thieves  of Tortuga.  Called off work to be sure to get as in the past they sold out so quickly.  Mixed feelings about the set limits increase.  Glad they did so more fans can purchase, kinda disappointed TLG didn’t announce this ahead of the crowd funding…could have saved a sick day and set now not a rare.  Overall I’m just happy I was able to order and can’t wait to build.  If I purchase from a future crowd funding maybe I won’t have to take a sick day.

Seeing them cry is hilarious.  The ones on the Bricklink designer site are so delusional.  It's still a limited run people are just insane nowadays.

I think it's great that they've updated the capacity limits, and done it dynamically, which I assume is to cater to the sets that are in highest demand and making the best use of their limited production allocation. Things selling out in minutes is ludicrous, as is within a day. It's great that we're four days in and nothing has sold out, so all those interested have a sensible chance to get something. I care not for resellers, but nor for those collectors who talk about reducing exclusivity. I fundamentally disagree that LEGO should have exclusive things. I'm not going to say 'it's only a toy' because some clearly treat it differently, and that's OK, but 'it is also a toy' is perhaps fairer and should be applied in most cases - especially as these are all minifigure scale sets, which is pretty much defined by being a toy!

So disappointed that they did not bring back a crossed axe torso for the medieval town square .

I put this comment in the wrong forum. It should be  the castle section

Having thought long and hard, I've come to the conclusion that I'll be picking up the Botanical Garden next week instead of any of these.

I like all five really, but I don't have space for the big ones

Series Eight selection is looking like bad news for my wallet though - can I find space for both Dustmark Keep and the University??

The balloon is gorgeous too (and I will try to convert it to be a tensegrity build maybe).

So basicly those are 2028 sets, yeah, I'll wait to see more regular sets,  before hype.

Still, it's nice to see Castle and Pirate projects keep on going (even tho I personally don't use BDP)

No, they ship Nov. 2026.... not 2028, @TeriXeri.

It looks like they changed the rules. They added the exceptions and the classic heads can be used again!

Quote

1. Each minifigure head may only be used once. Skeleton, statue, classic smile and alien heads do not apply to this rule.

I am personally glad they have pushed up the max sets offered, I called off  work to order as didn't want to miss out.  Was expecting Theieves of Tartuga to sell out within a few hours, this was not the case as of 6/17 beleive they have only funded slighly over 30K sets.  My question is, how many of a particular set can they offer before said set is no longer concidered special/limitted production?  Wonder how many of the Theives of Tartuga would have sold if offered thru Lego's Ideas theme?  At 30K sets to be offered, I am not concidering my copy to be that limitted.  Curvious what others thought?  I purchased to build and enjoy, not as an collector/investment.  IMO would think would have to be under the 10K limit to be concidered limitted.

I hope they sell a million of this set to get more interest in the Pirate Theme!

First time I have ever bought all 5 designs. I also purchased an extra Adventures in Transylvania

Theives of Tartuga is my first Designer's purchase.  All the offering for Series 5 were good.  Sure you will enjoy them all.

I cancelled my bdp orders this evening and have ordered them again to get double vip points. Painless process if anyone is on the fence about doing it. I'll get an extra £30 for doing so.
