This is stacked liftarms and system slopes poorly replicating a brick built body. Is there any possable way to recreat this model's body without liftarm stack? Quote
amorti Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 Maybe not in the same colour due to panel availability, but must be possible to use at least a few panels. Quote

Except taperd panel, available LBG panel is only 2. 5x11 flat and 3x11 curved 2 hole. Quote
howitzer Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 I wouldn't blame you for switching the colour scheme entirely, to black or red or something... In LBG it's either an ugly liftarm stack or non-Technic body. Quote
syclone Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 Flat silver has an acceptable (IMO) combination with LBG, and there's a good number of flexaxles available. Not a fan of those wheelarches as they do not follow the bodylines, but I suppose another purely LBG solution isn't exactly possible. Looking forward to the result))) Quote
2GodBDGlory Posted July 3, 2021 Posted July 3, 2021 I love the model mechanically, but it is going to be very tough to style the body, making it look good while distancing yourself from the original set enough. Can't say I know how to proceed, but I hope you'll figure something out! Quote

msk6003 Posted July 4, 2021 Author Posted July 4, 2021 (edited) CAD prograss 4 This looks much better. But front fender is to week. It connect using only 1 pin. Edited July 4, 2021 by msk6003 Quote
amorti Posted July 4, 2021 Posted July 4, 2021 Much better. It'd dictate colour choices, but what about that new panel for between 21/22, at the front of the engine cover? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=71682 Quote

And I want keep LBG considering this contest's main theme is recrate studded set and original 10262 is based James Bond's car. Quote
Jurss Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 What about not using so much bricks, but use also that wheel arch for front? For Aston Martin it could fit. Quote

SaperPL Posted July 5, 2021 Posted July 5, 2021 Note that there are bigger sizes of this wheel arch, but I'm not sure about colour availability of those. Quote

msk6003 Posted July 7, 2021 Author Posted July 7, 2021 Progress 5 Finish actual model except front bumper and rear truck door. I don't have much system brick so need to order. (I played with lego since 2011 and 90% of my set is technic.) Open every possible thing in current version. Hood has 2 joint like original model and roof is sliding when pull triger in rear bumper. Like original. Only I missed function(?) is double joint in door hinge. I don't have enough space for that. Of cource inside of driver door, there is hidden door for secret phone. I don't have both phone and panel so I put 2 1x4 brick insted now. It will be perfactly fit if panel 3x11 curved 10 hole is available in LBG. But don't. So I will just put phone and connect with door with 11L string. those 1x1 gap on black thing is for that. Now I need move this to CAD and order parts. I hope get part in time. Quote
msk6003 Posted July 8, 2021 Author Posted July 8, 2021 CAD prograss 5 CAD also finish. Trunk door is little different with original but I can't think more. Also air intake on hood is removed. same leason with trunk door. Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 How do you keep the front wheel arches in place? From what I can see, they are only connected through the side pin holes. Quote
Alex Ilea Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 Looks impressive! I would suggest you add the hood scoop to your build and change the roof, you should add some flexaxles to get the right roof curvature. Quote

But I can't find any possible connection point without that... 23 minutes ago, IA creations said: Looks impressive! Like I said before, LBG flexaxle is very rare and need to considering roof is sliding backward when pull trigger of ejection seat. Edited July 9, 2021 by msk6003 Quote
2GodBDGlory Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 Pneumatic hoses could be used in place of LBG flex axles, and would provide a smoother look too! Quote

And liftarm version will look squarish not smooth. Quote
msk6003 Posted July 16, 2021 Author Posted July 16, 2021 (edited) While wating order I made instruction. I will complety rebuild using this when part are arrived. I hope I can get in right time. Edited July 16, 2021 by msk6003 Quote
msk6003 Posted July 30, 2021 Author Posted July 30, 2021 My order STILL NOT ARRIVED DAMN Anyway, I made real model without not arrived part(most of front grill) I also need LBG fender and LBG 1L liftarm. I don't know anyone can notice it but I use metallic silver 2x2 ㄱ plate behind of front fender for recreating original model's part. And front windshield connection point is little changed. Rear view. need lot of metallic silver for bumper. Opening everything without roof. Opening roof and slide up bulletproof shield. Final function From original 10262 Slide up bulletproof shield using left exhaust pipe Secret sawblade in both rear wheel extend outside using right exhaust pipe Ejction seat using middle section of rear bumper with sliding roof Front machine gun show off using gear stick Changeable both front and rear licence plate Opening bonet with twin hinge and both door and truck Secret telephone in driver's door Changeable driver console New function I added Fake straight 6 engine connected to right rear wheel Steering front wheel using steering wheel @Jim Can you please extend deadline 1~2 week? 8/9 or 8/16. I asked the people who bought it from the same seller, and thay said it usually takes about three weeks. Quote
