I'm on windows 11 and have reinstalled LDD 5 times. The version of LDD i have is 4.3 , its the version that i believe has the most parts , as 4.3.12 is missing parts. But with either version it fails. Either it simply does not work or the listed files in the how to guide on page 1 do not show. Please if their is a specific version of LDD I need can you post the link and if their is a more precise how to guide or video that would be super helpful. thank you! Quote

Welcome, please post in the partner topic next time regarding any LDD-related questions.Do ckeck out the new perfect method to install LDD on Windows 10/11 before trying to install the Custom Updates, as detailed in my post earlier linked below. Once I have accessto my Laptop later today I will be able to assist further as I am currently using a public PC away from home. Hope this helps for now. The short story is that I got a new PC (moved from Windows 10 to Windows 11 with it) and went to download LDD and the Newest Parts update like I usually did, but an issue has now arisen. After doing everything as I should have I got a part error and all decorations are not showing properly on the minifigure parts (head, torso, legs), they're really extended. These are the first changes I noticed. What did I do wrong during the installation? I downloaded LDD 4.3.11, used Lif Extractor on the db.lif, downloaded the Complete Part installation from the most recent update (Development Version 20240922) and now I got this problem. For the latest LDD Update this year Minifigure Parts were updated with new UV Mappings which decorates multiple surfaces at once instead of separately, connections between Parts were also modified. However, some users including myself found old connected Minifigures removed due to the new collisions, the new UV Mappings also mean all existing official Minifigure Decorations need to be redone which takes a lot of time The new format will also impact custom Decorations and creating custom combos from the existing Decorations, unless you have access to the original high-resolution Decoration Images/Shapes and know how to edit each UV Map manually to combine Decorations. But now I am "converted" to Stud.io, and its biggest flaw for me is the limitation of the components. Is there a way to get the entire library of updated pieces and those of a clean installation of LDD? obviously without having to install LDD (if I find my old .exe of the LDD 4.3.11 installation, I put it, extract all the .lxfml and add them to your collection) so when I need a piece that Stud.io does not have, I just import the corresponding .lxfml and continue designing..
