Victator Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 Hello everyone, it's my first post here, here is a MOC I built, representing the scene in the end of Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone. It separates in two parts, and can be opened up in the middle, just like in a playset. It stops at a fixed angle. Here are some pictures You can find more on my newly created flickr page https://www.flickr.com/photos/187441740@N02/ Do not hesitate to give me some feedback/constructive comments ! Victor Quote
Seaber Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Looks great, have you tried adding rocks behind the pillars, or would that make the moc too dark? :) Quote
CF Mitch Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Very nicely done! This looks pretty plausible for an actual LEGO set, too Also, nice photography with the first picture Regards, Mitch Quote
Kit Bricksto Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Looks really nice. If you break it down it really is a simple build but it looks much grander and complex when opened up. I think you could have probably done without the clip on the floor maybe? I think it might look better to have the left side attach to the portal part like the right does, too. Any plans on maybe building the other rooms before this one too? Quote
Huigberts Builds Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 Wow, this might be the best build of this scene I've seen. I think the best part of it is that it closes all the way, it gives it that little bit extra. It brings me right back to the level based on this scene in the Lego Harry Potter game. Quote
krimimimi Posted September 19, 2021 Posted September 19, 2021 That first picture is just... *chef's kiss* I really like the mechanism to open or close the build, and add or remove the stairs / entrance. Makes it more "playable". Nice work. Quote
