Gary Ward Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 (edited) I've rebuilt this after a break of around 30 years. As a 9 year old I always wanted to do something more with the car and here it is, back seats. Hopefully, I'll motorise it and change the gear ratio so all 3 gears work. Yevhen Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 Good job! I like the improved version of the car! Quote

Gary Ward Posted December 2, 2018 Author Posted December 2, 2018 I lengthened the chase and the back seats are the same depth as the front. I'm going to tweak it. Make the back seats shallower, it'll look more like a coupe. https://www.flickr.com/photos/162402231@N05/? Quote
TeamThrifty Posted December 2, 2018 Posted December 2, 2018 I was a similar age with that model... it was the year when group B rally cars were still allowed.. 1983 ish i think? I turned mine into a lancia delta s4 chassis (sort of!). It had the floor pan lowered, wheelbase was shorter, so basically a new chassis, 4 wheel drive and the engine moved to be mid-engined. Had a roll cage too.... i was chuffed at the time! I've got half an idea to do a similar job to the Porsche, use it for the basis of a WRC moc.. studless with all the new suspension and steering parts, it would be a fun build. Quote
