Johnny Thunder and Miss Gail Storm - classic version from the jungle-subtheme and modern version (Johnny Thunder's torso and head from CMF 19 and Gail Storm's torso from 60267, pith helmet from CMF 13 and head).

The modern pith helmet with hair piece is now in Mia's jungle cube - set 41437. It's available in B&P for 2,56€, element # 6322890, design ID 72131. Pretty expensive, but worth a buy.

I used to collect those City mags , but it seems since 2020, Netherlands they changed from 12 to 6 issues per year , so now not all listed magazine gifts (listed on brickset for example) actually are released here anymore :look:

Yeah, Larry Jones, the treasure chest and the blue scorpion are a great gift. The best in recent times.

It has been a while.

Anyone have any ideas for things they'd like to see around here?

More chances to earn tags? A building game? Further MOC indexing?

Trying to drive some creative activity instead of hanging about in the doldrums and the negative spaces.

As for action themes, still have a long term plan to turn my Nexo figs into seperate knight factions at one point, which Ninjago figs could also fit in with their colors, and use parts from Nexo sets that don't fit into Castle-ish builds into other purposes like a Town or Space when suitable.

The 3-in-1 Castle and upcoming 90th year anniversary Castle Rumor just accelerated it a bit.

Starting to see a collection as a whole instead of just a display of sets , to me, is what makes LEGO a lot more special over some static display statues.

The sorting/organizing is the biggest hassle, once getting past the mental step of taking sets apart and mixing their parts.

Action theme set wise, the next hype that'll spark discussion probably will be the next wave of Ninjago, and probably Monkie Kid a few months after.

It is forever! I want to MOC, but got a bit lazy with putting things away so I now stuck with a lot to tidy into the right places, not to mention newer set purchases to part out and sort in. :look:

Hi there,

I'm a newbie and I'm working on a modular Daily Planet (Superman) model and I'm not sure if that discussion would go here or over in the Town forums. I don't want to make a post in the wrong place, so can someone tell me if it belongs here, there or somewhere (else). Sorry, as I was typing it started to sound like a Dr. Seuss book lol.

:)

There will be an Adventurers mini-set as part of the 90th anniversary celebration

It will be a micro version of this set

@legominiguy Licensed forum would be your best bet for that as it's where all the (non-Star Wars) licensed threads go.

Is DreamZzzz considered as a new “action and adventure” theme? It seems more fantasy to me but it is also more adventurous.

Well, the Dreamzzz discussion thread is in this forum, so yes. Hidden Side was a similar theme (modern day kids fighting supernatural beings from another realm with the help of one of their teachers), so if that’s action/adventure, so is Dreamzzz. Even Nexo Knights which was part fantasy and Castle was considered an action theme. Basically, any conflict-focused theme that isn’t licensed and not a “normal” City, Space, or historical theme belongs here.
