Sorry if I've been out of the loop but I just picked up this MK set because I wanted the white monster motors, turns out they're not MK monster motors?

Anyone know what's going on here?

Did MK just copy the Buwizz motors as they are, without even changing the label? That would be soooo lame..

Hard to say really. That's why I asked. I guess it's possible they licensed the design? Or knocked it off and keep the brand name intact?

As you can see from the box, they are covered by proprietary plastic fenders which are cosmetic.

Was just really surprised to see Buwizz in a MK box.

Hi,
I recently checked my Buwizz 2.0 controllers and was unable to connect them to the BrickController2 App.
This occurred after updating the Buwizz to the newest available firmware. I tried it on macOS, iOS and iPadOS - the Buwizz would not show up.

However - Buwizz 1 and 3.0 would work just work fine and showed up in the BrickController2 app.

Has anyone experienced a similar behaviour? Is there a fix/workaround for this?

So, my son bought a Buwizz 3.0 a couple of years ago.

He had used it for less than 10 hours, but has used it a little every month to ensure the battery didn't die.

We think possibly the over current protection is preventing it from turning on.

It's changed it's pattern of lights flashing when it's being plugged in. All in PU1.

First it was blinking once when plugging in, then once when unplugging.

Second it was blinked 5-6 times when plugging in and once when unplugging.

Now after having it connected to a dumb charger for 3 hours, it's flashing twice when plugged in, and once when unplugged.

The power button does nothing.

We have been trying to reach buwizz support for over a month with no response.  I did some investigation (I work in IT) and it seems their email server is entirely offline or inaccessible) and messages via their website aren't being responded to.

I tried via Facebook/IG. No response.

This was a hugely significant purchase for my young teenage son, and we are keen to get this working again, but are unsure what our options are, if we can't connect with Buwizz?

Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, I have been having an issue with my BuWizz 2.0 since the latest firmware update.

I used my BuWizz 2.0 (which I bought in late 2020) for the first time in a few months, and the BuWizz app on my phone asked me to update the firmware of my BuWizz. It updated the firmware to 1.2.70 which it shows as up-to-date. However, when trying to control a motor, there is a noticeable delay from my slider input to the motor, i.e. the motor would not start/stop until slightly after I move/release the slider in my control profile. I tested it with a PF Medium motor and Servo motor, and both did this, so I'm pretty sure it has to do with the BuWizz rather than the motors (both motors performed fine when I tested them with a PF AA battery box). Additionally, the Servo motor would not stop calibrating when in Ludicrous mode. My device is an iPhone 15 Pro on iOS 26.2.

Did anyone experience the same issue, and if so, did you find a way to resolve it? Is going back to a previous firmware version a possibility? It was working just fine on the previous firmware. Could using an alternative controller (e.g. BrickController2) instead of the BuWizz app perhaps mitigate this issue?

I had posted this in a separate topic earlier, but I figured I'd post it in the main BuWizz topic as it could be more relevant here.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
