__________________________ Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 This one may not have the looks but it surely outperforms many other attampts. This is what engineering is all about, in my opinion. Excellent work! do you have links to which Dakar trucks you are referring to I am curious. Quote
z3_2drive Posted April 27, 2016 Posted April 27, 2016 Really well built to withstand the hits, fun MOC Quote
ChocolateEinstein Posted April 30, 2016 Author Posted April 30, 2016 (edited) The canopy's blueprint is complete. I made it in solidworks, so it should be nearly perfect. make sure to use 12in by 12in (30.5cm x 30.5cm) paper. Edited April 30, 2016 by ChocolateEinstein Quote

__________________________ Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 Hey I added a rotating door on the side and I am adding a second roll cage, recoloring, and adding a second set of lights. I also removed the buggy motor since I will be replacing it with a third-party RC solution for higher speed and lower cost. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7ClftNJdh9_U1VsWVQ5NDh0Nmc Quote
__________________________ Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 (edited) I was looking at pictures, and I think you exaggerated the number of pillars the canopy spans over: there is only a need for 3, not 4. I also used axles instead of axles + connectors on the front cover to enforce that this represents cross bars rather than a fundamental part of the vehicle. Here is the new LXF: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7ClftNJdh9_Zm1kb1o1ZHpTZUU Edited May 1, 2016 by TheLegoExpert Quote
Mantarri Posted May 1, 2016 Posted May 1, 2016 (edited) Wow, just Wow! This is a pretty fast (and stable for It's speed) truck. Edited May 1, 2016 by XtremeBuiler Quote
