Anyway... it looks good, but, you could replace those 6x2 steering arms with the much less expensive 5x1 ones and save some $$$. You're gonna have to move the upper pivot further down but still.. Lakop Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 It pivots through the axle slot and it's all working fine, the springs are the softer grey springs. I used the steering arms because the 5x1's are already used and I only have a couple of them. The idea is to use what I have to see what I can achieve. I'm very happy with what i've got so far as there are two rear axles. H Quote

He's going to need another pair of parallel steering arms/liftarms. Nope. Not had that problem. Try it and get back to me. H it won't be a problem as long as you use soft spring dampers but for a full sized truck, those are not going to work. The hard spring ones will almost certainly buckle under pressure. Quote

The rear suspension is very similar to the mercedes actros truck that's coming, maybe the image does not show it correctly. It's attached to the chassis by the cross axle hole of the steering arms and the cross block that holds the shock absorber. It's working fine so far. H Quote

H Well actually, if you look at the Arocs' suspension you'd see that there are two sets of parallel steering arms to keep the axle horizontal. It's a pretty crucial detail that you shouldn't ignore.
