The battle of the ships!

Recommended Posts

It's basicly a battle between two pirates. i don't actually know why, maybe its because Cutlass Bob(The one with Red epaulets and captian of the smaller ship) and Captain Redbeard are big enemies.

A bit better than the last film.

i'll post a poster for this film tommorow.

please comment.

There you go... Certainly is an improvement from the first film. Your frame rate is really good, nice to see a fluid and more audable film. Plus it was amusing to see pirates blowing themselves up and always fun to see one of the flags in action.

Good job Axle *y* There's always room for improvement but there's only so much you can concentrate on at any one time, sure the films will get better and better.

Thanks!

And I forgot to put in the description that the flags were by you. I'll put that in tommorow.

It certainly is a nightmare when you're trying to make a film without the assistance of several dozen professionals. Nonetheless I'll provide some critical feedback.

I thought it moved a bit fast in some areas because it needed more frames and there were still a couple of microphone bumps that could have been edited out. Also the lighting was a bit dark but this can be easily corrected in some video editing software packages by adding an "Auto Level Filter". Though you'd probably need something meatier than Windows Movie Maker.

Now what did I like most about the film? I'll tell you after some sleep...

The reason it was all dark, is because I was trying to finish it today. I wanted it finished as soon as possible. and it got dark around 4 O' clock.

But the next one I'll make for good quality.

Ahhhhhh... So you were rushing?

Ever thought about using electric lighting rather than natural? If you're not reliant on what the sun is doing then you can work at any time of the day. Just so long as you have good curtains during the day time.
