Welcome to Eurobricks! How many minifigs do you think you own?

Thanks, nice to meet you! Well, depending on the definition of minifigure you prefer, between 450 and 500 including repeats :classic: . Are you a minifig collector too?

I certainly dabble yes! My collection covers quite a range with various figures from many different themes! I probably have around the same amount as you or thereabouts :sweet:

It's certainly good to meet a fellow enthusiast! I've always found it odd that there are almost no websites specifically for minifigure collectors. What you can see is mostly people uploading pictures of their HUGE personal collections.

In my case, I have a list with all my minifigures and some of their data  (see this topic I posted). It helps me keep track of them!

How do you store yours?

I have a glass display cabinet That I rotate my collection in depending on what I want to see at the time. When not on display they are kept in labeled boxes depending on what theme they are from. I dont have anything written down anywhere, I pretty much know what I have and where they are, keeping themes apart really helps I find!

Cool! Do you have a picture of your cabinet with the figs?

I found some cases that can store around 120 figs but cost around $17. They're good quality though.

Sadly I haven't taken any recent pics of my Lego room, it's a bit late now as we're moving house on thursday so everything has been boxed up. That took a long time! Unfortunately I wont have a Lego room now either, my little girl is growing up and moving into her own bedroom :cry_sad: I'll still have my display case out, just means it will live in the lounge now!

I'd love to have a Lego room! But I'm most likely more than a decade away from having my own house. How many boxes did it take? Do they fit in a single truck???

I'm glad your girl is getting her own room now! Perhaps she'll even have her own Lego room there :classic:

But I get you completely... I hate having to store sets in boxes because of lack of space :sceptic:

The Lego room was mine and my 7yr old sons, typically a women came along to ruin our fun  We'll have a smaller town set up in my sons new bedroom and various sets on display around the house but nothing like we did have. My little girl loves playing with her Duplo minifigures but im yet to let her get near our proper stuff!

As for moving the stuff, i'll get in one truck easily enough, storage at our new place will be an issue but i'll sort it out

That's very nice. I would have been so happy to have grown up with a Lego room :cry_happy: . Back when I was 6 more or less, all my Lego fit in a 20 cm. edge cubic plastic box! Good luck with your little girl! :classic:

Storage is such an issue... I have to buy a plastic box every year! And my room is tightly packed with stuff almost to its maximum capacity. The only place that has not been colonized by my collection is my bed
