Modern Combat/Skull Warrior/Cold Assault Troopers

I like the cold assault troops, reminds me of Metal Gear Solid. Great Customs -
Thank you brickie, It does look like a nice set, cool. I think that I'll try and replicate this set with the help from BL. Glad there's an inventory, thank you!.

Hi, does any one know where I could find any instructions or even information on this set '1049', it does not appear on Peeron and I only came across this set when I was looking at boat hull pieces on BrickLink. I am interested by the three boats on the picture and would like to know more about it and how to build them being more into the classic sets that is.

Yes I can see the reason for the wall being so low now, I never noticed the wall on '6081' but now it's been mentioned that's the same with the slope of the base plate making up most of the wall, it kind of makes sense. I should get round to taking pictures of my castles some time I have more of the 1980 castle sets then the other later ones though.

That's a good collection, I've started to sort out my old castles and purchase new ones too. I see that you have the '6090 Royal Knights castle', I have recently purchased this one too but when I finally got round to building it I was a bit taken aback. The castle seems to not be finished off properly compared to most of the others that I have '6080 kings castle' for example. There seems to be lots of holes around the ramps and lack of rear walls. Do you find this to be the same with all the later castles compared with the earlier ones?.

Good likeness, what piece did you use around the wrists of the minifig?.

I liked the film, the way every thing moved smoothly and the way there was no talking in it, to slow it down. I think that you did a great job, and the animation was really good. You should make a whole series of films like this fairy tales for example, it worked really well in my eyes. Thank you for sharing this with us.

This is a really neat MOC!!. I always like to see eastern oriental Mocs and the way you can use custom parts to make them look more authentic and get the feeling across. How long is it?, and it must come apart for you to move and store it?, any way fantastic work will you be making any more like this?.

I voted 'A' because in keeping with the more original designs, still they all look pretty cool though.

Nice these are good customs, I like the eagle it makes them look a lot more authentic in my opinion and the colour scheme goes well too. It's always good living in Europe because you can get ideas off your local towns and history, keep up the good work.

If you were going to produce custom items for sale.....
Gareth replied to Jargo's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Medieval / Knight body armour, more designs and variation than the limited products around. The Great Helms that brick forge make are great, but there needs to be more breast plates that cover the minifigs torsos. There seems to be plenty of military vests. Even the breast plates with the neck peices incorporated would be a good start. -
Thanks guys, it looks like some of the 'Minifig.cat' products are for sale on Bricklink, so wouldn't that make them Lego customs?. Still they have nice looking Samurai armour on there.
-
Hi, I was looking at the castle sets and thought how limited the Breastplate body armour choices were, now I know that there are a couple of independent manufactureres of after market breastplates such as 'Brick Forge' and 'Brick TW'. My questions was is there any other producers of Lego medieval body armour?

Yes!, thank you for bumping this thread up. Those pictures are truly awe inspiring, and like the ideas book gives you good inspirations for your own mocs.
