Henning Birkeland Posted October 5, 2011 (edited) I had a lot of green and orange bricks that I never use so I thought I would try something different then cars this time. I found out that a Parrot had to be perfect for the colours. When searching for referance I found a great model made by Kevin Kidney og Jody Daily: http://miehana.blogspot.com/2011/07/parrot-of-caribbean.html I did a quick model in 3D and converted it to Legobricks, I then did the colouring and printed out the model layer by layer for building instructions. Here is the final result, I hope you like it: Edited October 9, 2011 by Rufus Indexed

Yatkuu Posted October 5, 2011 Awesome! The only thing that bothers me a little is the leg (not the wooden one!) that I find a bit too skinny.
gcanik Posted October 5, 2011 An epic build, really great design. The only suggestion would be to see if you could round off the some of the stud edges by either using curved slopes or even cheese slopes. Great use of color!
alanboar HK Posted October 6, 2011 I love this Parrot of the Caribbean , it is excellent. And you build it up with a great work of 3D model.
