The firetruck "Red" from Pixar's "Cars"

I love the Ultimate build sets of Lightning McQueen and Mater so I wanted to extend the collection with my own version of the firetruck "Red". From Wikipedia: Red (voiced by Joe Ranft) is a mid-1960s closed-cab pumper bearing Carburetor County license plate "002." He is shy and emotional, often bursting into tears and/or hiding whenever he is upset. He spends most of his time gardening and washing things, such as the statue of Stanley next to his fire station. The ladder can of course be both extended and turned: A close up image of the Bell: Here's a image of the firetruck together with his friends (Lightning McQueen and Mater). I hope you all like it :) I'm allready started on the policecar from "Cars" so more to come ....

    MOC: The Parrot Barker Bird

I had a lot of green and orange bricks that I never use so I thought I would try something different then cars this time. I found out that a Parrot had to be perfect for the colours. When searching for referance I found a great model made by Kevin Kidney og Jody Daily: http://miehana.blogspot.com/2011/07/parrot-of-caribbean.html I did a quick model in 3D and converted it to Legobricks, I then did the colouring and printed out the model layer by layer for building instructions. Here is the final result, I hope you like it:

    DeLorean DMC-12

A couple of weeks ago I bought the new Back to the future game from Teletales and was inspired to create the DeLorean in Lego. I created the orginal car without the Back to the futre addons. This is one of my favorit cars and hopefully I will own one my self one day.

    Titanic

Thanks for the comments :) Which windows do you like the best? The scale 1:700 is correct, the ship is 5 studs wide and 48 studs long :)

    Big legoman

I've downloaded a MEL-script called Legolize thar converts the 3D model to Particle Instance replacement with Legobricks - you can read more about it here: http://www.highend3d.com/boards/lofiversio...hp/t218311.html Here is an earlier test I did with same technic:

    Big legoman

Thanks for the feedback. It's my first larger model so I'm pretty pleased with it. It's hollow all the way. Nope I'm not a master builder, but I really like to be but the Lego community in Norway is so small. Yeah I like the shoelaces too, it's 4 antennas pointing to the center :)

    Big legoman

The summer is here and it's raining. I have used the couple of last days to build this legoman. I have used my 3D software Maya to visualise the model on the computer first so had some reference to how to place the bricks. The model is approx. 60 cm high. Almost all my blue, red and beige bricks went to this. Hope you like it :)

Rubber duck - from Maya to LEGO

I just got a new plugin for my 3D software that converts my 3D model to Lego bricks, here is my first result :)

    Rolls Royce

Thanks for all the nice feedback. I looked at pictures from both Phantom II, III and Silver so I have picked elements from all of them, but the main body is build from a Phantom II blueprint. It took me around 20 hours to build it (but that includes a lot of testing and rebuilding). A lot of the parts come from the set 4993:

    Lego Mindstorm car thar shoots

Thanks :) I control it with a Mindstorm software on my Sony Ericsson mobile. Yes, I control it the same way as the caterpillar with one engine for each side of the car. If I take the mobile joystick forward it drives both engines, if I take it sideways I control only one (and can steer). The last engine that fires the canons is controlled by the 1 button on my phone. Maybe I'll fix the steering later on.
