I finally got to MOC something I wanted to build for a long time: A Panzer IV in minifig scale, complete with the Anglerfish Team from Girls und Panzer The Build was quite fun, because the Panzer IV has a very angular but still not too simple of a design, which made it a nice challenge to get the shapes right. I wanted to have all the minifigures to look out of their hatches, because this way all the characters are visible and it is also how the tank is shown in the series outro. Just lucky the Panzer IV has such a nice hatch layout where every crew member has his own hatch. The Panzer IV is continuously upgraded in the Anime series, this MOC portrays the Ausf. F2 with the long 75mm gun and additional frontal protection. The Minifigures where created by my friend bricksofmaze, he does a lot of minifigure builds on Instagram "@bricksofmaze" if you want to check him out. The Tank ist built with a full interior, to access it the turret including turret basket can be pulled and the superstructure can be removed as well: Turret pull Gunners seat with turret motor, controls an a comfy heart cushion Loaders seat with ammo rack Superstructure removal Hull Interior with engine bay manual transmission, driver and radio operator seat and some more ammo. As you might have guessed this Tank is a display piece and is not able to drive. The tank is fixed to the base and none of the wheels can move, only the track tensioning system works Panzer vor! -
The Battle of France, also known as the Fall of France, was the German invasion of France and the Low Countries in 1940 during the Second World War. In six weeks from 10 May 1940, German forces defeated Allied forces by mobile operations and conquered France, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, bringing land operations on the Western Front to an end until 6 June 1944. Italy entered the war on 10 June 1940 and attempted an invasion of France. I wanted to start creating some mocs with WW2 theme and Brickwarriors with their amazing new figs, gave me the inspirastion !! I created a diorama with the Germans after a fight.. in the roads of Paris! The main moc.. The squad.. The buildings.. I hope you like it!! C&C are welcome!! P.s. The Panzer IV Ausf. G Tank is a design from Brian Fitzsimmon with a little upgrade in some parts from me for stability and to move turret around and up-down.
