A Speed Champions MOC of one of the most iconic and beloved sports cars on the planet, the original NA Mazda MX-5 Miata/Eunos Roadster! Instructions are available for purchase on my Rebrickable page. This MOC is an exact replica of my personal Miata, and features a removable hardtop, opening hood, and of course, pop-up headlights (non-fuctional, parts must be removed and replaced). Minifigures do not fit, but with some modifications done to the interior they probably could. Similarities are shared with NV Carmocs' and Bricks, Blocks And MOCs' NA Miata MOCs, but otherwise this is a completely different MOC. With purchase, instructions for both the stock NA Miata and a Rocket Bunny widebody-equipped Miata are included!

My LEGO Speed Champions NA Mazda Miata MOC on steroids! Instructions are available for purchase on my Rebrickable page. A vision of how I plan on someday modifying my actual Miata, the Mikado Miata, named after my still-not-conceived Eurobeat-influenced rock band (need to learn music and how to sing/play my synthesizer, ), comes with these modifications! Rocket Bunny widebody kit with extra aero (front splitter, RE-Amemiya-style rear diffuser, and giant BattleAero chassis-mounted wing). "Jet stream" headlights and custom taillights with black housings. RE-Amemiya-style carbon hood with 280HP turbocharged engine underneath. Greddy titanium exhaust. Red interior trim with red Bride racing seats and green Takata harnesses. Hard Dog roll bar. Custom 3D-printed Rays Gram Lights 57Transcend Rev Limit rims (by Brickthebrick.com). Livery with vintage racing-inspired white roundel and the majestic Mobil Pegasus (by Brickstickershop.com). Hope you like it!

I was looking at this great Ideas project. However, I have no idea how the headlights work: https://dp1eoqdp1qht7.cloudfront.net/community/migrated/b32/5f6/32898/image You can see the car with the headlights down on this page: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/12170 Any ideas on how you would attach those headlights to swivel up just like the original car?

UPDATES: After I uploaded it to Flickr, I noticed there where some things missing, like side-mirrors and some details at the front, so I made some changes. Information: This car was built using Lego Creator style techniques, it has a lot of details and funcionality, like the opening doors and the detailed engine, to see more pictures you can go to my Flickr. Lego Ideas: This car is available to support on Lego Ideas, so if you like this, click here. Thanks for stopping by, -Marco. Qm
