  1. Late last year I bought LEGO Harry Potter set 76452 - Quality Quidditch Supplies & Ice Cream Parlor. I decided to turn the larger model into an antique store, complete with a new back half to the building and by tweaking the color scheme a bit in places. (like dark red becoming regular red) That antique shop version ended up not working out due to lack of space inside, so it became a haberdashery (that's a fancy word for hat shop) instead as it required less floorspace in the building for the items for sale. I recently got the model finished in the real world which you see above with the minifigure shopkeeper out in front of his store. The rear of the building. Here's view of the inside of the shop, with all kinds of hats for sale on display. As you can see, the shop folds open for getting at the interior details. This is the first of (at least) three models I made / am making based on Diagon Alley shop sets. The others currently in the process of parts-finding are a tailor made from Madam Malkin's robe shop in set 76439, and a LEGO store made from Weasley Wizard Wheezes in set 76422. (I'm still debating what to make with the brand-new Borgin & Burkes shop in set 76471, but I will probably think of something cool to do with it!) As it stands right now, the tailor is probably going to be the next building built, so keep your eyes open for its own topic when that happens! Thoughts?
