Although this has been up on Flickr for a good while now, I thought I might as well share it here too :) This is my version of Poe's T-70 from The Force Awakens (but of course you already knew that :P) The model features the all important S-foils, opening cockpit, functional landing gear and a working droid lift for BB-8 Poe’s T-70 X wing (1) by Inthert, on Flickr Poe’s T-70 X wing (8) by Inthert, on Flickr Poe’s T-70 X wing (9) by Inthert, on Flickr Instructions, more information and pictures are available on my Flickr page and even more pictures are now up on Brickshelf. Following a conversation on Flickr, I now appreciate that the forward fuselage isn't quite right for a T-70, this is something I'm planning on modifying when I get the time. After building my minifig scale T-70 i got the urge to go bigger and start an UCS version. So here she is besides her little sister, hope you enjoy the pics and build. Hi All! New member here, looking to start sharing some of the stuff I've been working on since I got back into LEGO moc'ing after my dark ages. I don't have a lot of display space or a large collection, so I've been enjoying focusing on small desk-top display models, which fits great with Microfig sized stuff. My latest project is the T-70 X-wing in microfig scale, at least approximately. It's inspired by Brickdoctor's midi x-wing from one of his advent calendar series, and by the Psiaki x-wing's nose. I'm planning to buy the pieces to build it in real bricks, but for now I've just got renders. I apologize for the funky lighting - I'm still learning the render software. I'm still trying to work out some design issues. The cockpit piece is the best solution I've found, but it's obviously not nearly long enough. I don't really like it, but haven't been able to build or find anything I like better. I'm also still trying to figure out how to move the front landing strut further forward without messing up the profile. Having landing gear, even if they're just hinge plates, is important to me for some reason. I'm also uncertain I've got the wing and engine proportions right, so I may play around with that a bit more. So what do you think? Any ideas on how I can improve it? Adaptation of my Incom T-65B X-Wing model. Features the same geared S-Foil mechanism, working landing gear and opening canopy. LDD does not yet have parts from the Force Awakens sets, so I substituted an R2 astromech and Rebel pilot for now. Will post pics of real model once I've collected the parts.

Hi, everyone on this forum! The Force Awakens sets is already available to buy, but except the 75099 Rey's Speeder, 75100 First Order Snowspeeder and 75103 First Order Transporter, I not very impressed with the others, espiecally the 75102 because of several inaccuracies when compared to the trailer. As a example, the wings on 75102 don't close like in the trailer. So, I builded this T-70 based on what a Lego T-70 X wing suppose to look like in my thinking. It's heavily based on 9493, but the cockpit canopy and the wings are different from 9493 and 75102. I know it suppose to designed to fit the new astromech droids like BB-8, but I prefer this design more, so I designed it like that. Need a LDD file of this model ? Download it by pressing here. Here is my take on a Incom T-70 X-wing fighter from the Force Awakens in a micro(ish) scale, here in Poe Damerons colours I thought LEGO's original version (30278) was a bit low on details, so decided to try a version of my own... I know there are still details that are not completely correct (like the halfmoon engine intakes), but there are several limitations working with micro scales. And I'm far from being an expert. When I saw the first pictures/videos of the new T-70 X-Wing I was kinda disappointed. We would get another redesigned X-Wing for the new trilogy which design changes didnt looked convincing in my opinion and bothered me. But after I saw the movie, looked at pictures and comparisons as well as some amazing Lego designs by users here in the forum, I started to like the new generation of X-Wing to the point were I actually even prefer it over the old design. Since we still have to wait some months to get a standard X-Wing Lego system scale version of the T-70 model, I went for the microfighter version and immediately knew I had to modify it (to the point that its maybe even a MOC considering how small the original is and how low its part count is) since I wasnt really satisfied with its build that lacked the unique wing design, had a stubby central body and the typical possibilty to seat a minifigure in it. Changes: - Longer central body - Wings that fold together and split appart in the correct way - Full Cockpit - Astrodroid behind the cockpit as well as engine details - overhauled base construction and colourization I am very satsfied with the way the wings worked out. The design includes the very specific differences compared to the old X-Wing with the color, engines and wings. Its not perfect since the wings overlap like the original system scale version and the body is too thick in the central part, but in this scale I had to make compromises. And now to some actual pictures as well as a picture from the original to compare to. Time for a creation I am very proud of - the Resistance X-Wing from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The goal of this moc was to replicate it as faithfully as possible and still have some functionality. With that in mind, enjoy my rendition of the Resistance X-Wing! The wings and gear each move, as well as I could have hoped. One of my favourite angles. Note the targeting computer - I have no reason to assume that the X-Wings still carry these, but I added it nontheless! Yes! It's yet another T-70 X-Wing MOC. This is actually my fifth version of the Episode VII ship; the first can be found here. I took inspiration from everyone's wonderful creations around the internet, specifically "All in the reflexes" here on Eurobricks, (the design of the nacelles and the use of the 2x4 arch bricks was his), and "P D" on Flickr. Lately there have been some nice T-70 X-wings on the forum so thought i'd add mine that i have been working on for some time but making slow progress due to life getting in the way! Firstly i'd like to acknowledge ScottishDave's recent X-wing, did an awesome job but scarily did a couple of things i was actually working on as well, firstly using cams to attach the engine exhausts. It was the perfect part for that section and i thought i was a right clever so and so using it, that was until i saw it used on Dave's model, i cursed then laughed (and cursed again) He posted his way before me so im giving total props to the man for it. Secondly using a pipe to make the curve of the engine inlets, i was doing something similar but his version was way cleaner so i used the design, great job man, its brilliant! Also the legend that is Mike Psiaki looms large over most X-wings made now so his fuselage is a great inspiration to my model. I tried to make the nose sleeker and with some hit and misses i think i got close. Also the lack of the new screen in LDD forced me to get creative with the canopy, i was just looking for something that added to the lines of the ship and came away quite happy with what i achieved. Although in the process of getting the parts to build this it may change if the new screen can be made to fit in similar style to what ive built so far. Anyway, to the pics!.....
