Location: B06 - Sorn Tags: Land Vehicle, Engineering After being away on spying missions against Octan, I almost forgot how much I dislike Kawashita. That dislike was quickly resurrected upon my return to Sorn. All of the work our engineering core put in on Sorn creating mining and communication operation facilities has been destroyed by the Kawas. Well were back to rebuild and own this planet again. We started by establishing some communication stations and remapping the islands via satellites. I was able to construct a small comm station, now I'm on to the next island to continue the work. - D -
Location: B06 - Sorn Tags: MANITS, Land Vehicle Double D's log 22: Well, before I knew it I was back on Sorn. I was given the task to zoom around patrol several small docking zones. After a few hours of doing some jumps patrolling, I decided I pulled up next to one of those docking zones hoping to grab something to eat. --------------------------------------------------- Sorry for the lack of story....you should go read Big Sal's stories, they're great! Location: B06 - Sorn Tags: MANITS Double D's log 23: While speeding around in my speedboat, the radar picked up something strange beneath the surface of the water....something large.... There was no sign of Kawashita or Octan influence, so I excitedly borrowed a submarine and went down into the depths. Okay, it wasn't that far down, but it is hard to pick up without actually scanning from the water level. It was by chance that I even went over it. There seemed to be a square opening towards one side of the box-looking object, and before I knew it, the opening through which I entered closed. I was trapped. Inside the block, the water eventually subsided and I was free to exit my sub. Who had captured me, I didn't, and still don't, know. Once I proceeded through the door, I felt that I was in a very fast elevator that was moving down beneath the ocean floor....when the elevator thing opened, I was greeted with what seemed to be an endless hall of doors. No one was around, or at least that's what it seemed to be...I did the only logical thing at that moment, proceed to enter through all of the doors one by one. All were alike, and seemed to have no furnishing other than a few lamps. Then, in the 487th room, there it was.... ~ DD out To be continued!

Location: B06, Sorn Tag: MANTIS Double D's log 24: After staring at the relic for some time, I seemed to have suddenly appeared in the hall again somewhere near room 520, not 487 where the relic was. I quickly pulled out my pistol and upon hearing a voice behind me, I whirled around and shot...only to find that my weapon was inoperable! The creature before me was short in stature, and it had a curious and inquisitive face. It felt like it was looking into my mind, which was creepy. "Do not be alarmed, you'll be safe with us...Dave Daring." It was then that I realized my communication system was missing... ~ DD out To be continued!

Location: B06, Sorn Tags: MANTIS, Vehicle, Exploration Job: Driver Start Log: Another water mission this week, but I got to drive a boat for the first time. And not any standard boat at that, the HC-2 is a pretty nifty piece of machinery, or maybe I should say pieces of machinery, as it's really two vehicles in one. Plus I got to see one of the new MANTIS subs in action. Our task was to chart as much of B06 as possible, to decide on best locations for future MANTIS bases, refineries, and comm stations.
