  11. Hello again! X-D I guess I'm gonna kick off my contest with my own entries (even if its not ethical, if you know what I mean!) Entry #1: Cowboy Category: Locomotion Commotion! Here, Sheriff Nadroj (example of what I mean by rule #7) is riding his trusty steed back to town. To get there he must ride over the train tracks. But as they cross, the Sheriff's horse stops for a quick bite to eat: a tasty looking weed. Sheriff Nadroj, afraid that they will be hit by the train if it does not stop in time, tries everything in his power to move the big, dumb horse. Lucky for the two companions, the conductor stops the train, just in time, too! Angry, the conductor steps off the train to see what happens, and Sheriff Nadroj tries to explain. (Yes, thats me in the reflection! :-$ ) Entry #2: Indian Category: Indian's Showdown As the Native American man goes exploring his natural desert landscape that surronds everything he's ever know, he looks for anything of interst that he could trade. But as he approaches a horse's skeleton, already picked clean by the ravenous vultures, a bandit jumps out from behind the cactus, armed and ready to shoot. But the indian is also prepared! Who will win? Thanks everyone, can't wait to see your entries! *y*

  14. Hello everybody! I'm pleased to anounce Sheriff Nadroj's: The entire WW theme has really inspired to to make some pretty good MOCs, so I thought a WW contest would be a great idea, since nobody has done one yet. The contest will have two categories: Cowboys (which includes : Cavalry, WW Town, etc.) and Indians (which includes any indian-themed MOCs, i.e, totem poles, teepees, etc.) This is going to be a Vignette contest. Here are the rules: 1. Members can enter only one entry per category. 2. The entry must have a base of 8 studs x 8 studs. 3. Parts can overlap. 4. NO LDD's 5. NO custom peices (no megabloks, for that matter, too! ;-) ) 6. Custom decals are allowed. 7. Your sigfig in a western outfit is welcome! (i,e, your sigfig as a cowboy, indian, etc.) 8. Have fun and be creative! 9. PRIZE: I'll PM an admin to see about a special title! :-) But that's contingent on the admin. You know. ;-) DEADLINE: SEPTEMBER 22, 2007 EXTENDED TO SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2007 Good luck, everyone! X-D Here's the Entry Thread: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...showtopic=11251

  17. Very, very, very cool!!! I love Octan LEGO MOCs! I espically like those octan balls in the back! *y*
  18. I know. ;-) Its funny 'cause a lot of people get confused. Oh well, I guess they have reason to be! X-D
  19. Thanks for the feedback, everyone! :-$ Thanks! But who's Sir Nadroy? :-D ........ ;-) Thanks. I used one of these: (red r2-d2 torso.)
  20. to Sir Nadroj's
  21. Hello again! Here is my third and latest WW MOC. It is an indian themed one, too! It is a Totem Pole, some landscaping, and a Medicine Man. Totem Poles are sort of difficult because you really need to put as much detail as possible, but anything over 2 x 2 for a base would look unrealistic. This was the best I could do. Personally, I really like the bird on top. The beak came out pretty good. Who knew a banana would make a good beak!? ;-) Again, some landscape i.e, more cacti and some roots. The medicine man figure really isn't anything special, but I like his staff. As always, feedback is appreciated, and here's the MOC page: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/37051 Thanks!
  22. I know what you mean! X-D If brickshelf is gonna stay open and not close for good, it should not be closing and opening! Ridiculous. One minute, I'm looking up inspiuration for a toem pole, the next, "Internet Explorer Cannot Display This Page." Who knows, maybe the site's format will change slightly.
