  5. Thanks ~ but hes not supposed to be german, hes supposed to either be soviet, maybe US, but not german! ;) And in case anyone's wondering, the torso is an airplane pilot torso, the airplane logo is covered up by the sash!
  6. Thats the technique I used for Fort Brimstone!
  7. Thanks everyone, but I've changed it yet again. I know, this is a WIP! ;-) Army Officer Reunited Love! *wub* I'm workin on that last pic to make a banner for my latest creations.
  8. Just wanted to say thanks to those who voted for me and the kraken! ;-) Much appreciated! *y*
  9. I know what you mean. Its the hat and background, right? :-/ Thanks ~ I did just that now that you mention it. Should I change the hat maybe? A black officer cap maybe? A pilot helmet? EDIT: How 'bout these different backgrounds?
  10. Well, after having that Governor theme going on for a little while, I was getting so sick of it. I have also branched out from the pirate theme to other themes as well, so having a piratical avatar didn't make too much since to me, even if its where I started. So I chose a WWII USSR General look. Why WWII and USSR? No clue, I just guessed that the hat worked well, is all! ;-) I kinda like it, and I'm really into the military theme. (even if I haven't made an army MOCs. [yet!]) What do you guys think? Oh, yeah. I kept the same head. I love that head! X-D EDIT: Changed to EDIT EDIT: Changed to the fabuland parrot!
  11. Here's my entry. Its got an orange/yellow colour scheme. It is my take on the goddess of the sea (whoever that may be ;-) ) Notice the crabs and starfish. I've attached it to the H.M.S. Broadside to see how it looks. Thanks! Good luck to the other contestants! :-D
  12. Welcome! It always good to see more PotC stuff! Here's my potc things, in case your interested: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=197227 (Also, after my first post in this thread: I finished my figurehead contest entry I made a new sigifg. (he's not posted yet, I still need to take pictures. I'm getting sick of Governor Nadroj. Now I'll be General Nadroj of the Soviet Army! ;-) You'll see)
  13. 9/3/07 I woke up and went online. I got dressed. I went online again. I ate candy corn for breakfast. Family came over for a Labor Day cook out. I ate quail for lunch. I browsed eBay for USSR Uniforms. I went on eurobricks. I posted in the 'What I did today thread'. I..... ;-)

I saw this on brickshelf a day or two ago. I was blown away!!! It is absolutely incredible, and I love the hull, and colour scheme!!! *y* *wub*
  15. explodes. Then Sir Nadroj, not having read the previous posts, and oblivious to all that is going on around him...
  16. You could always go here: http://www1.lego.com/eng/service/replaceme...PartDetail=true Type in the set #, and choose the parts that are broken. OR if the parts are not on the list, you can describe them in a space provided. I have used this service before. A tad bit slow, yes, but at least they fix it, right? ;-)
  17. Thanks guys! That may actually work. I may try that and see how it looks.
  18. Thanks everyone! Your feedback is greatly appreciated. I may branch out in the western theme i.e, Indians/town theme, etc. but I don't have any ideas yet. I'll look through those other threads! ;-)
  19. Unoftunately, my auction did not sell. The offer still stands, though. You can PM me an offer if you like, and 20% will still go to Ron Paul's campaign. Thanks! ;-)
  20. Ok, thanks! Better safe than sorry! ;-) I think you mean allowed, not aloud. ;-)
  21. Can we include these: I don't know what they're called, but the light blue peices. Are they allowed? :-$
  22. Be my guest! :-)
  23. WOW! Those are excellent! I'm glad I've inspired someobdy, and I'm glad to see some more fellow bird enthusiasts! *y*
  24. Thanks! I know what you mean about the back. This was the referance pic I used, so I tried to make it look something like this: Sorta looks similar. X-D
