This is the reason the movie is PG-13: http://www.millenniumfalcon.com/phpbb/view...opic.php?t=3638 Njoy! ALERT: MAJOR SPOILERS!!! EDIT: This question has been buggling my mind. Does Grievous have 4 or 2 hands? I mean, I've NEVER seen a picture from the movie showing him having 4 arms. I've uploaded 2 pictures and it CLEARLY shows him having TWO arms. Anyone care to explain? http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures...128836874&idx=1

I just read today, that there will be another War of the Worlds movies released this year before Spielber's version and this one will be like the book (not in the 21st Century). Check this site out: http://www.pendragonpictures.com/WOTWKEY.html and for more info: http://www.comingsoon.net/forums/showthrea...ead.php?t=35177 All I can say is that it looks horrible. The special effects are ok but overall from the trailer, it looks so korny. It looks like a fan-made film but it will actually make it to the theaters (probably only in select ones). Funny, I've just heard of the movie today and it's supposed to come out in a few weeks.

Nice relationship? They take pride in torturing people who like LEGO sets other than Bionicle. Did you see with what pride they said that Vikings won't be coming this year? :P

No offense but I'm a Classic Town kind-of-a-guy. I already have a small town set-up in the basement and once I don't feel lazy, I'll take some pictures. I was really interested in Technic and I have a couple of Technic sets but I got into the theme too late. I haven't bought a single LEGO set in at least a year. Parents say I'm too old and I've spent my money somewhere else (upgrading comp., new sound system, etc.) so it will be a while until I consider of buying any kind of LEGO set. And I actually, those first Bionicle sets seemed much decent than the new ones. Yes, there were specialized pieces but not as much as in the new ones. And what I really don't like, is LEGO's lack of creativity. Everytime, I see the same old 6 "heroes" and 6 enemies, all in the same 6 basic colours just different pieces.

man, i know u dispise it, but cant u at least respect the people who like it? i dont want this to urn into a debate now...and anyway, this is i freindly site for all lego fans (i think ;) ) i think its perfecly fine for this new thread Ok, I didn't say people that like Bionicle shouldn't talk but there ARE already TWO MAJOR Bionicle sites with forums, why does Eurobricks need one? I really doubt it's necessary. Oh, and just one final thing, I don't only judge Bionicle just by pictures, I actually received one as a present, it's one of them really old ones, called Lewa. So yes, I have seen sets in person, yes I am subscribed to the LEGO Magazine, yes I read the Bionicle Comics, yes and I watched and have both movies. If the Bionicle thing would have been made by another company, it would be ok but it's un-LEGO-like.

Oh boy................................. I really don't see the point of this. There are at least 2 other major Bionicle sites with forums, is it necessary for a third one?

It's definitely unique. But do you know who and why he/she changed it to this? 8-| -

Is "Shepherd" unique or a normal title? If it is unique, who thought of it? -
Since all these changes are made to forum topics, I think it would be great if the LEGO Trains part would be re-named to LEGO City & Trains. City seems to be coming back and since Trains are part of a city, these two should go together.

Never spoke a truer word. Way to welcome a newbie, man. Hey, at least I'm being honest.

Apparently this guy has no imagination. LEGO is about imagination and what you can create, it's not about just buying it, let it collect dust and for you to sit on your megablocks all day. The final product is only a part of the LEGO experience, I like building and tweaking sets and that's the whole point of LEGO. What fun would it be if they made all these specialized pieces to make it look "realistic" but it has 200 pieces less, plus I think the LEGO SW sets are quite realisitc and the UCS line is very realistic.

Wow, umm...ok...I will try to keep my mouth shut about this... If you don't know what I'm talking about, you can view the long discussion in the "Best Bionicle?" thread.

Eh, I haven't bought a LEGO set in at least 1 year. I don't have a job and only get money from working for my parents or neighbours. All the money goes to other places, like I just upgraded my gaming computer and bought a Sony mini system. It will be a while until I get in the mood of buying LEGO...

Ah, our master has come back to teach us younglings.

Isn't 1989 classified as 1988+ ??? Somebody doesn't know how to count... :P I said 1998, not 1988. See the 8 comes BEFORE the 9. You learn something new each day.

By blockbuster, I meant "popular" or movies that were a big hit and sadly, I've never heard of those movies. Speaking of movies, have any of you seen that 2-part series, Supervolcanoes? It was originally a BBC production but since I don't get BBC, I downloaded the movie and I was amazed at the quality for a TV movie.

Alright, I'm sorry but I still don't take back what I said or what I think. mister_phes, that was the only time I wasn't being serious. :P
-
Oh thanks a lot, you just spoiled it for me! Just great. Na, I was joking :P I "saw" the movie through pictures. There was a site that had over 100 pics and they were in order of the events of the movie.

Which Skull Island are we talking about? The wonderfully designed 6279 from 1995? or the slapped together 7074 from 2004? Wow, what a difference, it's amazing that both sets were made by the same company.
-
But the thing is, I'm not much of a fan of old movies, other than Jurassic Park and Star Wars, that's why I said I like Pirates of the Caribbean and not older movies but there aren't any fairly recent (1998+) blockbuster movies centred around the Vikings.

Well the Wookiees are good guys, so they're fighting against the droids, the jedi are fighting against the droids and the clones are fighting against the droids. Bad day to be a droid. Basically, everyone is against the evil droids. :P

You know not everybody has a computer and most importantly, you can't get Internet access everywhere. So wherever he went, either he has no access to computer or no access to Internet or maybe he just went on vacation and wanted to forget about the modern world.

That's the most bull****ing answer I've ever heard. Clearly there's was no point of arguing why Bionicle is so crap if you think Bionicle has as much functionality as Technic. You can contiune blabling away and saying whatever you want but... 1) Bionicle is crap and it's insulting to LEGO's name 2) It may bring money in but LEGO still reported a loss and I'd rather see LEGO lose more money and seeing them make more duplicates of 6 and the same colours 3) Bionicle strip away a child's imagination 4) Bionicle is NOT an introduction to Technic. (that's why LEGO made the mini Technic sets) and 5) Bionicle is a waste of plastic, I'da rather see containers made out of the plastic. And this time, this is my final answer for sure as it is useless to talk about it and the thread was already getting old until some Bionicle fanboy had nothing to do and decided to revive a dying thread for no absolute reason. And as a future note, my three pet peeves are: 1. Bionicle 2. USA and 3. consoles, so just think before talking about those, because I just might drop by and "insult" you.
-
Now see that really insults me, htf do you know I'm making assumptions? How do you know if I ever touched or seen a Bionicle set in my hands? Huh? Please, tell me, where did you get that assumption? I'm eagerly awating your answer. |-/ And apparently people these days don't know the meaning of "mostly". They seem to be confusing it with "only".

Putting Bionicle in the Technic line is the biggest disgrace! Technic sets are advanced sets that help kids understand mechanics and how vehicles work. All that Bionicle does is limit a kid's imagination by producing all these <insert that tiresome argument> pieces. If a kid that was only attracted to Bionicle was put to assemble a "normal" LEGO set, he couldn't probably do it in a week. There is a reason why different forums were made, so people who like the same things could talk about them. I'm almost certain that Eurobricks is not a place to discuss about Bionicle. It's mostly for Star Wars and providing information and leaked pictures of future sets and in my whole time I've been here, I haven't seen one single article on Bionicle, which is absolutely great.
