  1. Anyone know how to hack because someone should break in the www.rebelscum.com site and take the LEGO pictures. They obviously have 'em all. The wait is killing me.
  2. Obviously there will be a preview tomorrow...we've been getting one each day...see the pattern? :-D
  3. Wazzzzzzz up again.....more hints at future sets: "The mini Toa Hordika will not be mini-figures like you are used to, with bendable arms and legs and big grins on their faces (thank goodness). I will try to see if I can find an image someplace. The set is a Coliseum wall with a huge Toa mask as a gateway, and catapults and web lines and the Kahgarak defending it against the Toa Hordika who are trying to get inside to save the Matoran. One of the other playsets will be in BIONICLE Adventures #8 next year (so see if you can spot it!) Quite apart from this, I have to say that the quality of the LEGO playtheme sets next year is night and day from what we have done in the past. There is a Knights set that is just gorgeous ... some stuff for a new summer line that is just mind-blowing .. the Star Wars stuff is great, as usual ... and some of the Harry Potter sets are so cool that I want them for my house. The designers really outdid themselves." ---------------------------------------------------- I'm pretty sure the Knight's Kingdom set is Lord Vladek's castle that we've seen earlier. I 'm very interested in the Harry Potter sets though. Houses??? Need to see sets!!!
  4. Damn, the set looks much better in these pictures and the actual detail and size of the picture is better than the previous 2005 set pictures shown
  5. Oh sorry. I thought you were talking about the 1:17 System one. I forgot that this was the Technic thread. Sorry again for getting your hopes up. :P
  6. The Technic sets including the Enzo are available for North America.
  7. Wazzzzzzup y'all, found this on a certain *cough*crappy*cough* Biological Chronicle theme (as found on www.dictionary.com) aka Bionicle: "A little Christmas present to BZP ... In a few weeks, when the January LEGO BrickMaster magazine arrives, readers will find a new BIONICLE contest in it (no, I can't reveal the specifics of that, since it would give BZP members an unfair advantage). The grand prize will involve the winner's creation getting into one of next year's novels, and two of the five "mystery" sets: The Battle of Metru Nui Toa Iruini (Toa Iruini is the prize for first-place winners) Battle of Metru Nui is our first attempt to do playtheme-style sets for BIONICLE, and features mini Toa Hordika and Visorak, a larger Kahgarak (different from the one you can build with the Visorak sets) and lots of features and functions. It's a great set on its own, and can be combined with the other two playtheme sets to do a big battle scene. (More on those later next year.) Unfortunately, the set isn't pictured on the contest page, but once we are into January, I will do my best to answer questions about its contents so entrants have an idea of what they are getting. Happy holidays! Greg" From www.bzpower.com --------------------------- I think that's a neat idea. If it has minifigs with different parts of the city with terrains and castles, it might look cool. Can't wait for at least a sneak preview picture. :-D By the way, I'm NOT a Bionicle fan but may become one if these playsets will come out and actually look good.
  8. LEGO Preview: ROTS Set 7255 Darth Grievous Chase - The chase is on! Obi-Wan Kenobi rides his Utapau Lizard in hot pursuit of the evil General Grievous. But even if the heroic Jedi Knight catches up with the 2-mode Wheelbike, he'll have to face the droid general's 4 deadly lightsabers! Includes General Grievous on wheel bike and Obi-Wan Kenobi on Bogard. ETA 04/05.
  9. Hey no problemo, glad to help out people. ;) The new mini digger is out but when are the rest of the construction sets coming out?
  10. I think he meant those sets are finally available in North America. They were only available in Europe until now.
  11. I see. I thought SUV was a well-known word like sedan or wagon. So then, what are SUVs called in Europe? :oo
  12. You're joking right? :o
  13. Also, why are the pictures such poor quality. They don't even look like they were made by LEGO, they look more like MOCs 8-|
  14. Well I don't want to spoil the movie for you so I will say in general, Anakin falls in something that if someone fell in real life, you wouldn't be able to survive, so by the time the Dark forces take him out, most of his body is gone. It is replaced with AI parts, so I guess the droid adds the arms with screwdrivers and things like that. It would be cool if the arms, legs and body were separate parts so then you could actually make the droid place the pieces :o And the set could have been more detailed, maybe with a control room and Palpatine because in the trailer, it was shown that Palpatine says to Darth Vader "Rise", so it would be cool if at the front, there would be a large throne with Palpatine in. Also, more details and tables would be nice.
  15. Darth Vader's Transformation - With the help of a medical droid, the Jedi Knight once known as Anakin Skywalker is transformed into the villainous Darth Vader, Dark Lord of the Sith. Includes Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader and Medical Droid. ETA 04/05.
  16. Psh, what a loser. Everyone knows the Earth is flat. Why do you think airplanes and ships disappear in the Bermuda Triangle? Hint, hint, end of the Earth!! For those who don't know, I was being sarcastic. :P So are these sets all coming out in January or is it part of the summer assortment also?
  17. The street sweeper looks the same. The excavator looks much better. It isn't as skinny, which makes it more realistic. The crane...not nearly as great as the "prototype". The prototype looks more massive probably because of the number of wheels and it uses less specialized pieces. The boom on the final one looks like it's made out of one piece...or probably 2. The window of the crane operations cabin looks too futuristic. Specialiazed pieces around the wheels, the black and yellow scheme looks much better than the light grey and yellow scheme......I think you get my point.
  18. What do you mean which site???? The one that you got all the pics from!! Jeez....there isn't another German site with 2005 set pictures. |:||-/ http://www.robothek.de/Lego.htm
  19. The mini digger is somewhat available. You can't preorder it but it's a sign that the new sets will soon be in: http://shop.lego.com/product.asp?p=7246 Item#: 7246 Ages: 5+ Pieces: 36 Price: No List Price Coming Soon on 08 Jan 2005 Help build LEGO City! Another building is being constructed in LEGO City, and it's your job to help make it happen! Use the mini digger to get the job done. * Raise and lower the shovel. * Includes construction worker with tools. EDIT: Where can you find the page with all of the 2005 pics on the German site?
  20. OMFG!!!!!!!!! Most of those are amazing!!!!!! Check out the construction sets!!!! AMAZING!!! And the Technic Ferrari Enzo, WoW!!!!!!! Oh megablock, too much excitement, seizure ** Twitching**in a pool of drool. :oo
  21. Then I'm having doubts that you really do have the set(s). 8-|
  22. EDIT: Argh, I'm having trouble with posting pics so I just put in the link: http://www.brickset.com/search.aspx?Set=8650-1
  23. Thanks people. I have seen this car in reality at the Toronto Auto Show and it is a true beauty. While many people think it is very boxy, it is not. It has a lot of curves and it is a very complex car. It is very hard to do it with Lego bricks but with Lego's new specialized pieces, I think a better result could have been made. I guess the designers at Lego just looked at the pictures and said "Ummm I guess this looks fairly close to it." They needed a car enthusiast's opinion (like me :P) to show them what could be improved. I don't understand how they could make such nice F1 cars but ugly street cars. Hopefully the Technic one would be much better.
  24. Exactly what I posted on www.fbtb.net: "That's ugly, no where near the real thing. Real sloppy design. It should have been made out of technic beams. With the flexo beams, the curvature could have been better." "What I'm trying to say is that it may be good in some ways, it looks like a MOC done by a 12-year old and not a well-known company. It doesn't look Lego company-worthy and it is waay to blocky, where are those curvy pieces when you need 'em? For example, the F1 sets are brilliant and look excellent but not this. And since when am I not allowed to say what my opinion is? Have a swore or done anything against the rules? Nop...then shush. Rolling Eyes Hopefully the technic version will be better. EDIT: How is it sloppy? Well it's just ugly!!! The side air intakes are probably the only good-looking things. The windshield is all wrong and look at the side. The bricks go very well and smoothly over the wheels and when you go the front, the pieces are of a different slope and totally messed. The smoothness doesn't continue like in the real model. I'm a real fan of Ferrari and especially the Enzo and this model is a disgrace." EDIT: Umm skip over then part where I talk about my freedom of opinion. Has nothing to do with www.eurobricks.com :)
  25. A new excavator and Racers sets are found on the official S@H site but only for European countries. Unfortunately, no pictures. :( EDIT: drewc, is that fire station the one similar to the one pictured on the front page of www.eurobricks.com? It could be from the series for small children since in the set list, there were also a couple of junior sets. It could be "4664 fire-brigade headquarters".
