Red Scare Mystery - Chapter Ten

I'm not sure Parker's exactly qualified to identify the remains, Simmons, but I think it's safe to assume that it is Laura's body for now. Taking it with us to the hospital isn't a terrible idea if we're going that way anyway, though. Maybe once this is over she can be put to rest properly. I'd like to know how hard it is for Simmons to cart the body on the bike and whether he believes one person could have moved the body this way when it was originally placed in these hills. I'd also like Nurse Parker's medical opinion as to the amount of time the body could have been out here. Lastly I''d like to examine the locket again for maker's marks or engravings saying where it was purchased, -

Wizard Duel Round 2 Diana Fabray | 5------Vs.-----Johann Peterschmut | 4 Low ~ 0 ---------------------- Low ~ 0 Expelliarmus ~ 1 ----------------------- Protego ~ 0 Mid ~ 0 ----------------------- Crucio ~ 1 Crucio ~ 0 ------------------- Expelliarmus ~ 0 High ~ 0 ----------------------- High ~ 0 Health: 4 --------------------- Health: 3 Johann recovers and sends a spell in low towards Diana but she does the same and the two spells collide in a little puff of yellow light. Peterschmut then tries a shield charm but Fabray disarms him first. He finds his wand and casts a crucio on the Death Eater. Diana breaks the curse and tries to fire off her own cruciatus curse but Johann disarms her first. She dives to recover her wand and fires off a high shot just as Johann does the same. Both spells miss horribly stunning members of the gathered crowd of Death Eater hopefuls. Send for round 3 when ready. -
Great job as usual, ACPin! Good to see you working on OT pieces. I think the crowdedness culprit is more of a lighting problem than a structural one. With all the movie accurate dark colors, the light needs to be brighter to compensate. But I'm probably wrong.

I don't know what it means but if there's a contest, I'm there. Maybe some PQ sets for prizes?

If Hoffman did run off, he sure knows how to gain our trust... Are any of the rest of us missing or look out of breath like they could have taken him somewhere and come back? -

Wizard Duel Round 1 Diana Fabray | 6------Vs.-----Johann Peterschmut | 5 High ~ 0 -------------------- Protego ~ 0 Crucio ~ 0 ----------------------- Expelliarmus ~ 0 Mid ~ 0 ----------------------- Crucio ~ 1 Expelliarmus ~ 0 ------------------- Low ~ 0 Low ~ 1 ----------------------- Mid ~ 0 Health: 5 --------------------- Health: 4 In a cold abandoned warehouse down a dark alleyway in London, the Death Eaters try to recruit fresh blood. "You must not show weakness," Diana Fabray tells the group of hopefuls. "Failure is not tolerated." Johann Peterschmut pushes his way to the front of the crowd. "To become one of us, you must defeat me!" Fabray shouts and launches a spell at Johann. Anticipating this development, Johan blocks the spell and then disarms Fabray. He then casts a cruciatus curse that causes the Death Eater to squirm on the floor momentarily. She finds her wand, though, and quickly breaking the curse, disarms Peterschmut. She follows up with a low shot that sends her young opponent reeling. Send for round 2 when ready. -

Whoops. Give me a break I'm typing with one finger while holding a screaming baby... who keeps spitting up... Ewww. 2b.) (or not 2b ) You're special because of the way your spelling is always perfect. Dont listen to anyone else because they're jealous that their spelling isn't as perfect over there. And that's all I'm going to say about that, too. Edit: Changed ism't to isn't. Blame the squirming kid... -

It won't hurt to try to get in the game. 1.) I'm going to go with the Cottage set as my favorite. Come on, a cat and a mouse have a time-share together. I hope they don't pick the same weekends to be there. If the mouse mysteriously disappears, you know who the police dog's prime suspect will be. Is that racial profiling? 2.) Definitely. D-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y. Definitely. Did I win the Spelling Bee? 3.) I have nothing planned that I'll be away from my computer for a few hours at a time. -

This thread has been quiet for too long. Auror Flashburn challenges Diana Fabray to a duel! There that should noisen it up a bit. (I know it's not a real word.) -

I asked this a while back but never got an answer: Delores, were you able to deliver that message to Patrick back when Laura was murdered? -

Hoffman, was Laura involved in your facility in some way or do you know anything about her murder? I'd like to open the locket found by the tree stump and examine it for any engravings or pictures inside. -
Werewolf Mafia: Conclusion
CorneliusMurdock replied to JimBee's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I don't know why anyone would believe you left the mansion with all the night shenanigans of the town slut. Congratulations, Village! It's always nice when the good guys win. I imagine that this would have been how Asylum would have gone down if Hinck had guessed right about allegiences. (Again, sorry. I wanted to be good...) I did think Flitwick was Coleman, and after that tried to figure out what the other players stage names were. This was a hugely entertaining game to watch. You did a great job, JimButcher! Can't wait for Hinck's game to start. I want to get back in on the action. -

Hoffman, are there any of us here that had access to your facility or might have visited in the past? Do you know if any of us had knowledge of the place before this whole thing started? Did Howard write the note that was with the gold and stuff for Ackerson? -
Be sure you don't mix them up with the dark brown. I know there are 2 under each bay window on the first floor. I think I may have had 4 left over each of black and dark brown when I was done.

It would be sweet if they were released early. The more pictures I see of this line, the more I want these sets. The Mill was on my budget list the moment I heard about it and the Blacksmith soon followed. After the latest pics, I replaced the UFO abduction in my budget with the Dragon prison. I think it's a really decent set for $20. My only gripe about the set is the flick fire cart.

Does the General often have these kinds of rages and memory loss? Somethin' just don't seem right about your story. Maybe you're just tryin' to lead us astray, Hoffman. Garrison, have you heard about Stanley's temper before? Do you mean he wrote every single note we've found? If so, that is one prolific dead guy. -

CorneliusMurdock replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yes, obviously you're so much more helpful than the General. How would hearin' about Howard's death upset him? Didn't you say that Stanley killed him? I can take one of them bullets if it would help the situation. Although since Fields and Harrison already have firearms, I don't know how one of them havin' another one changes things so much. I would like to compare the notes from Howard with the notes we have already found to determine if he wrote any of them.
