OOC: Since no targets will be in range, can Elgar break from the Archers for a round and then return to them the round after? Cronk knew Cronk should have upgraded shield before leaving Eubric... Tomas and Glorfindel should remain on Ballista and keep up the good work! Cronk will tryo to hold off those on walls as long as Cronk can. -

Sir Leo and Cronk will defend the wall. Elgar will remain with archers. Glorfindel and Tomas will man the ballista. If declaration needed, Cronk will bash Soldier coming over wall from front row. Reason Cronk choose Leo and not Tomas for wall is Leo's shield come in handy absorbing free hits that soldiers will surely be giving party in future rounds. -

OOC: Can Elgar break off from the archers and them still fire? Does Cavalry W remain targetable while scaling the wall? Time has come for some up close bashing! Should Cronk and Glorfindel engage the enemy or should catapult be fired, friends? -
So one person suspected me and Peanuts and I both lose? I really thought everyone would be on to me when my criminal record said I punched McGovern. Which is exactly how I killed the Chief. I had tried to talk my way out of it, but I wasn't sure how successful I was. The other thing was our kill attempt on Flitwick going horribly awry. It basically cleared three (maybe five) people. Our original plan was to kill Fugazi but we were told that was a bad idea. Really, Bob? That was a worse idea than taking a hostage and having a shootout with the FBI? I'd also like to say thanks to Peanuts for being a wonderful accomplice. You guys never found the gun or even had an inkling that James and Amber were a couple.

LEGO Licensed Themes MOC and Review Index Discussion Thread
CorneliusMurdock replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think I've gotten all the current sets on the index, including the ones we know of for 2012. If I've missed one, it can be pointed out here. Adding all the missing reviews will be the next step (And I suspect it will be a long laborious process.). If you have a review for a set and it is not in the index, PLEASE post a link to it here and state what set it is for. If you have multiple reviews not here, a list would be nice. Otherwise I'll have to hunt them all down and it may take a while. I also realize some set info may not be there for some sets. I plan on on giving the index a once-over really soon to remedy that. In the meanwhile, please be patient. I'm sorta new at this. -
And I would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for those meddling FBI Agents! How was it their jurisdiction anyway?! Um, Bob, what were the winning conditions for Peanuts and I?

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
CorneliusMurdock replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
At least the other two "soldiers", the minotaur and highlander are 5 per box. I'm just glad they didn't make the Statue of Liberty five per box. While it's a great figure, I don't know what I'd do with more than one. -

OOC: So is there no way to completely destroy any of these even if we hit them every round since neither weapon does 100% damage? Cronk aim catapult at D5. Fire! Cavalry may be at walls next turn, prepare for battle, friends! Cavalry is pain in Cronk's butt. Hold still, enemy Cavalry, so Friends can shoot you! -

Cavalry now beyond range of catapult, Friend Glorfindel. Cronk and Glorfindel will fire catapult at B5. Hopefully Cronk and Glorfindel keep up good work and finish off infantry. -
I'm thinking they mean that the minifigures will be seen as collectible rather than that they'll make Collectible Minifigures for the theme. But I could be wrong. Maybe the licensers made a minifig line part of the deal. Can I just say that now that there's no doubt of this theme happening, I'm more than a little surprised at the hate being thrown at it from various members. Not just disappointment but hate. I realize this is a big change in Lego's line up next year and that things don't look good for Kingdom's continuation, but this is BIG news. LOTR is THE fantasy series of all fantasy series. I wonder if the AFOL community had been this organized back when Star Wars debuted whether there would have been the same backlash against it...

! That pretty much sums it up for me.

11) Croc’s sewer (Build by Skrytsson) - 1 point - Wow. The bathroom is just perfect and so very detailed and the way you made the sewer is both unconventional and awesome. 14) Nora (Build by SI-mocs) -1 point - Once again the lighting sets the mood, but what really got me was your positioning of Freeze. You can see the desperation and longing in that second picture. Very emotional. 17) Freeze's Freezer (Build by LuxorV) -1 point - Contrasting with Si-mocs' build is a very fun one with Freeze. What makes this for me is the color scheme and the overall atmosphere of the build. -

1) Enter: The Joker (Build by SI-mocs) - 1 point- The way you've made the lights shine up through the vats really makes the whole build come to life. 4) Joker makes a withdrawal... (Build by TooMuchCaffeine) - 1 point - Absolutely superb from the lovely bank front to the unicycling henchman. 12) Killer Croc's Killer Croc (Build by Patriot720) - 1 point - Making the giant Croc explode from the sewers was inspired as was the excellent way you accomplished it. -
Um... what would be the point of paying the licensing fees if they didn't make sets of the existing characters? I enjoy some of the non-mainstream books (The Starfleet Corps of Engineers series is awesome.) but if Lego gets a license they're at least going to stick to known characters instead of creating new ones. Otherwise it would just be Lego: Space Explorers.

You make a lot of sense, Amber. I did think your father seemed suspicious buying all those expensive things. For a while I thought that maybe he was one of the bank robbers but him being a drug dealer seems more believable. He could probably smuggle just about anything into town with his "antiques". Your theory would mean poor Robbie was your father's accomplice. I always told him to stay away from drugs... Those drugs were the only evidence of ongoing criminal activity we found in all of our searches.

Heroica RPG - Quest #16: The Paladin Conquest
CorneliusMurdock replied to Etzel's topic in The Heroica Archive
Cronk not like big seige weapons. Give Cronk up close bashing any day. Cronk and Glorfindel will try B6 again. Friends gotta score hit some time, right? Tomas and Leo, use best judgment. Cavalry appear tricky. But remember cavalry move two spaces. -

B6 is as good as any for catapult. Cronk and Glorfindel will aim it for B6. Tomas and Leo will operate ballista. Cronk think C5 will not be occupied, however. The cavalry would be stupid to use high movement to put self behind rock. Cronk think more likely for cavalry to move to D4. But Cronk will let Tomas or Leo choose the target. (Friends should bold for QM). Friend Gligan can prepare the archers and get self ready. Cavalry probably be here soon. OOC: I'm letting them choose their target. Otherwise I feel like it's just me playing and I think everyone should have a chance to participate. -

OOC: didn't realize that they moved first. On second thought Cronk think friends will aim at square C2. There are more sodliers in infantry. Maybe cavalry better dealt with by ballista. When more frineds join us next round party will target cavalry then. -

Ballista will not reach the enemy this round. Cronk and Glorfindel will operate catapult this round. Cronk think aiming for Cavalry on square D1 good idea this round. -
My guess is that Jack and Sarah are the bank robbers that have never been caught (and had an affair and that's why their spouses thought they were being emotionally distant and had their own affair.). The Chief was being blackmailed somehow by them to keep it quiet but got drunk and decided to arrest them. And they killed him. This is just a guess and I don't have any hard facts to back it up. I'm not sure there's hard evidence against anyone.

Thanks for those. I think the most exciting thing is the Sleepy kid's second face. Works for sleeping and being really smug. Also nice to see back printing on a few of these. -

Cronk is willing to take any watch. If friends want specific shift, please tell Cronk. Cronk also think better if heroes shift in pairs. That way those friends stand better chance of holding off foes for one round till help comes. Also two can operate big weapon.
