Seconded. Let's just hope he got busy building all the Lego he must have gotten for Christmas.

The Curse of IMHOTEP - Day One
CorneliusMurdock replied to Pandora's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Has anyone seen my feather boa? I mean, *cough*, has anyone seen my feather, um, lion snare? I think one of those evil fiends must have stolen it during that sandstorm. I hope they don't intend to sacrifice it. It's ever so soft and cuddly... I just noticed your nice new hat, Aloysius. Are you assisting Mehmet with the cooking chores today? Really, we need to find out what these Cultists want so we can prevent them from getting it. While killing them off, of course. -
The Curse of IMHOTEP - Confirmation & Discussion
CorneliusMurdock replied to Rufus's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Silly Patrick, we're probably cousins or something. And don't get any weird ideas just because I wear a feather boa sometimes. It's really comfortable and doesn't mean anything. William Fitzpatrick reporting for duty. I'm sure we'll find a way out of this mess in no time. -
These are less MOC and more Custom minifigs. I'll move them to the Customization Workshop.

As the sincerest of compliments, Regulator Buddy. That's a good rule of thumb for any comment about you that you don't know how to take. Pretend it's a compliment and move on.

Well, if Cam counts as staff, I do as well. Welcome, Tim! I hope your stay with us is as fun as it is for the rest of us nuts in here. Looking forward to some Super Hero MOC-iness.

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
CorneliusMurdock replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Licensed
Because then even if he changes them to smaller pics or I change his post, then I have to change your post. His post was right above yours. Quoting the pics just to say they were too big was unnecessary. Now let's move along. Nothing to see here. -

Exactly. Thanks for saving me the trouble of looking up the tutorial. CGCJ: If you're unable to post pics within EB's size limit, you can always link to them. I've changed them to links for you. -

That's really weird if Kmart got the exclusive. Anyone know of such a thing happening in recent history? Heck, they can't even get a Martha Stewart exclusive anymore. If this holds true, I'll probably have to get the Funhouse from S@H like I originally planned anyway. The nearest Kmart we had went under when Walmart moved in. Next one's too far away to be worth it. -

No, Who-ville. Needs all the help it can get, floating around on that speck of dust... -

In what way? It'd be easier to decide whether I agree with you if you elaborated. The only disappointment for me so far is that Green Lantern never turned up in a regular set. I'm still sorta hoping he'll defy all odds and appear out of nowhere. And maybe bring his buddy, Aquaman... -

1. Bloodbrick 1, The Forest, Belville, Baritones 3, Bloodbrick 2, and Prison Riot. 2. Finally, no more travelling out of town for the foreseeable future. It's been a long couple of months. 3. Wow, so many bad moments. Almost getting lynched after becoming a monk in The Forest. The entire game of Belville, not doing well at all. Blowing myself up with a grenade in Baritones 3. Trusting Hinck for far too long and then trusting Shadows in Bloodbrick 2. Overall, though, a lot of fun and lots of laughs afterwards in all of these games. Vanilla townies, huh? That's pretty much me in every game where vanilla's have been included. -
Thanks. It'll probably be together until some time after Epiphany. Jesus is two minifig heads with the lower one sitting in this turned backwards. Unfortunately I don't own it in white or it would look even nicer.

My wife asked me to make a nativity scene for our mantle this year. She even let me place an order from BrickForge for it. And two days after Christmas it was finally finished. Better late than never, right? The three kings still need some work. Maybe by Epiphany...

I got two AC Tripod Invaders, one from my family's gift exchange and one from my wife's family's exchange. I also got Draida Bay, a BrickForge sheep and a BrickForge acoustic guitar. Using everything, I'm tempted to make a large six-legged monstrosity manned by tiny orcs chasing a sheep who plays a guitar.

Heroica RPG - Quest #16: The Paladin Conquest
CorneliusMurdock replied to Etzel's topic in The Heroica Archive
Well, this kinda suck. Cronk cannot think of any way friends Tomas and Elgar can stay in battle after next round. Even Friend Glorfindel will not be safe for many more rounds especially with party's cleric down for count. Why can knights not take sentinel position? Let all party's knights concentrate really hard and try be sentinel. Cronk will bash Infantry X1 from back row. Friends who have bombs, use bombs next round. Glorfindel, Tomas, and Elgar can all throw bombs from back row. Extra free hits from these friends not attacking foe directly not matter at this point. Using bombs will give 15 guaranteed damage on all enemies next round. This make foes easier to kill from back row for knights in rounds to come. Sadly, plan cannot save Tomas and Elgar but only plan Cronk have. Order will be: Cronk Leo Glorfindel Elgar Tomas What Cronk would not give for a barbarian with a sword of darkness right now. -

Guys, let's keep the talk here about the system sets. The Ultrabuilds have their very own topic in the Action Figure Forum. -
Review: 6857 The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape
CorneliusMurdock replied to halomaster96's topic in LEGO Licensed
Post in this topic saying you want in and an admin will give you access. They have a lot of great tips and tricks for making excellent reviews and many teachers for personal advice and help. Even setting the camera on some books and using the camera's timer would help. It's weird that with so much technology out there that even the small amount of shaking that can come from pushing the button to take a picture can ruin a close up picture. I'm sure with a little more practice and the practical advice and tutorials in the academy, you'll improve in no time. Just keep trying. (And when you do get better, you can replace the pics here. ) -
I like these new sets. I wish they'd released the helicopter separately and used those parts to make a slightly larger building but I understand why they want that play feature in there out of the box. Too bad my budget is spread too thin as it is next year. I'm no expert on mining but is it common procedure to strap dynamite to a boulder when mining gold? If you've already gotten it out of the ground, which I would think would be the hard part, isn't there an easier way extract the gold without resorting to explosives? In any case the mining company needs to look at how efficient it is since their workers are using timers and remote detonators (plungers) for the dynamite. I guess if you're the type of person who throws dynamite at problems, you want to be absolutely sure it explodes.

It's a really nice little set. The jet ski is done pretty well and just the fact of the two figs in one polybag makes this something I wouldn't pass up if I saw it hanging in the checkout aisle. If I actually had a town harbor set up, I'd probably seek it out. On paper, the new life jackets look nice. I like that they look smaller and leave more of the upper torso print visible. They obviously should have been designed to nest the head down inside them to not have that very noticeable gap. Hopefully Lego realizes this goof and finds some way to fix it in the future.

That's so perfect! Great details for such a small MOC. I'll have to see if I have all the parts sometime. Thanks for adding instructions, too. Any plans for Gromit?

Thanks for reviewing this set! This only confirms for me that this will be the Batman set I get this year. So much to love about it. -
REVIEW: 8827 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6
CorneliusMurdock replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Great to see another of your reviews, Fangy! I can't wait to get all of these. I thought I wouldn't like the Flamenco Dancer but after you showing how well she fits in the Wild West, I'll have to track down at least one. And I'm so gonna make the mechanic the Fonz. Heeey. -
Shh! Don't call attention to that, our hostile takeover plans aren't ready yet! I mean... Um... What hostile takeover plans? I don't recall exactly the Google search that got me here. Or maybe it was a link from somewhere. Wow. You get a little older and your memory just goes. Anyway, I lurked for a while after joining. Then the LDD contest and Series 1 contest came up and I actually started posting. After losing horribly in those, I just wouldn't go away. Then I found the Games forum.
