  1. I ordered it from Walmart before they sold out along with the other two I've reviewed. I'll probably end up buying the Spiderman and one more Avengers set this year. I haven't decided which Avengers set yet but I still want Iron Man.
  2. Yes, but it's dark red and that ups the ante right there. I don't see what's so wrong with some of the Dino vehicles anyway. If there was any wiggle room in my budget this year, I'd have picked up a couple. EDIT: There you go. This set is really the best value of the line, I think. It reminds me of the Superman set in that regard, but with better minifigs. It's also at a really good price point for the casual buyer. This is the set you'd get for a young relative that is into comics for a birthday.
  3. Atramor, Spearman is protected this round. Cronk think it make more sense for Atramor to target foe that can be damaged. Cronk will bash Pikeman from front row.
  4. Swordsmen not get free hit so friends can ignore. Barr Handle and spearmen untouchable, and Cronk can take free hit from Barr. What plan Nyx? Cronk should probably bash this round...
  5. Hulk being my all time favorite super hero, I had no choice but to get this set. Let's see how Lego did this time... 6868 Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout Price: 49.99 USD Pieces: 389 Minifigs: Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, and Loki Back of Box. Here we have both FAZZZZZZOW and BTOOM! Great stuff. The Manual cover is pretty much like the box. The Sticker Sheet. This one's not too bad. I'm definitely going to use the "Space Invaders" one, though I'm going to put it on a tile and not the little flag piece in the set. I'm disappointed that the S.H.I.E.L.D. Eagle ones are stickers. I hate applying stickers to round pieces. I can never get them lined up right. I really wish those were printed because I think they'd really add something to the jet. We get three numbered bags and a little soft plastic prison for Hulk. Hulk is grouped with Bag 1 in the build. Bag 1 comes with Hawkeye, Hulk and the little jet. This bag all by itself would have made an awesome set. Just saying. And here's the completed build. It's a sweet little jet. I love the dark blue and the build is more clever than it looks since it has the cockpit roof that can be jettisoned. The controls are simply one joystick. It's put on a technic pin that is a little loose so it doesn't want to stay in one place and flops around. *insert joke here* Bag 2. We start on the main part of the lab. This one has Loki in it. Bag 3 finishes the lab and has Thor in it. Completed Lab. I like it. While not a complete building, it's a fairly decent sized playset. I don't know how anyone is supposed to make it to the computers above the holding cell, though. Maybe Hulk gives them a boost. Spare bits. Really surprised about the extra staff. Not sure that it was intentional. For the play features, see my complete Flicker set. And now the main attraction: Overall the Hulk fig is nice. My main complaint is pose-ability. Only his arms move. I would have loved to have him turn his head or bend at the waist. A turnable head would also have allowed the possibility of have a different head with a different expression which would also have been nice. His hair is also not removable. He does look impressive despite all of that. Really, I think Lego could have done a better job with this. I think as a main character, e should have more pose-ability than the old castle troll or the Wampa. The other figs. Loki looks good. No back printing or alternate face, though? Thor looks great. Mjolnir doesn't look as impressive as it could. I'm guessing this is because they want to reuse it for other themes. Hawkeye looks nice. The torso printing is excellent, he even has a quiver printed in back. I really don't like his face, though. The new composite bow more than makes up for that. Loki's face is familiar... Not the exact same print but it might as well be. What's the point of doing a new print if it doesn't look all that different from a previous one? My Marvel Heroes so far. My final thoughts: Build- Excellent. I really enjoyed the whole build process. There's a lot of nice parts in there. Minifigures- All main characters and they look great for the most part. Value- Price to piece ratio is pretty bad. There are some larger pieces in here though. I really think this should only have been a $40 set. I'm willing to overlook it just this once for Hulk's sake. My Rating: 8/10
  6. There are a few more on my Flickr. I think I covered most of the angles. If there's something specific you'd like a shot of, let me know and I'll try to see if I can get a pic of it.
  7. From the first time I saw this set, I knew I had to have it. It does not disappoint. 6866 Wolverine's Chopper Showdown Price: 19.99 USD Pieces: 201 Minfigs: Wolverine, Magneto, and Deadpool SKRAAK! The sound effects continue. I don't know about this one. I'm guessing it's the claws on sword sound. Must be a pretty strong sword to not be cut to shreds by the adamantium claws... Rejoice, for there are three bags of awesomeness. They aren't numbered, so we can open any one we want first. This one's mostly accessories but check out Magneto's head and all those dark red cheese slopes. This one has all of Deadpool, along with Wolvie's hair and Magneto's helmet. This one has most of Wolverine, Magneto's body and lovely purple cape. Lego really seems to be spreading the minifig parts around these days. Theft deterrent, maybe? Interesting part. Only one in this set. Hopefully more to come in the future. Here we have the manual. Looks pretty much like the box. There's also a separate small comic. Notably missing is a sticker sheet. This set doesn't need one. Deadpool must not like to put any signage on his copter. Note that Deadpool's swords aren't put in the holders. The manual will tell us to put them on the copter. Wolverine's motorcycle s kind of minimalist. Just snap the top and bottom parts together and slap on headlight. I still like it better than Cap's Avenging Cycle. Next up is this beauty. I'm really impressed with this build. It has some really nice dark red parts, and is really sweet looking once assembled. Top view. Cockpit isn't much to look at. Deadpool does fit in there with the sword holder on, just without the swords. So you don't have to keep removing his head to get him in and out. How thoughtful. The swords clip onto the flickfire wings. Not really practical if he needs to bail out but they look nice there. (I forgot to take a picture of them actually on the wings. Maybe I'll fix that if I remember later.) Spare parts. Deadpool must have bought this thing at Ikea. It's nice to get an extra claw in there. But this is really why most of us will pick up this set: I have absolutely no complaints about Magneto. He looks exactly like I think he should: Awesome. Wolveirne is also pretty good. Note that his uniform isn't regular yellow. It;s the same color as the Hazmat Guy from the Collectible Minifigure line. I might try changing out the fleshie for yellow skin at some point. Bad news about that is that Brickforge doesn't make their Savage Mask in that color currently. (If any of the guys from over there are reading this, please fix that (and print the dark blue on it, too. I'm lazy.) And that's my biggest complaint here, Wolverine needs a mask. He looks great otherwise. Then there's Deadpool. One of my favorties from the comics, I'm tremendously pleased that they put him in this set. He looks spot on. My one gripe is that his sword holder would have looked better in black. Only reason I can think of why they didn't make it in that color is if they have a ton left over from POP and had to get rid of them. Hopefully, if they ever make Nightcrawler (Pretty please, Lego?), they'll decide to make it a new color for him. And the backs. All three have back printing! Magneto and Wolverine also have double sided heads. Is it too much to ask for them to smile? Value: This is a great set and for $20, it's a steal. Minifigs: Iconic characters, faithfully depicted. My overall rating: 9/10, Mostly for not having a mask for Wolverine. Otherwise, I'd recommend this set to anyone with even a passing interest in these characters or for anyone looking for a sweet helicopter. "And now, we ride."
  8. You're the one who asked someone to rename the thread, silly. CarsonBrick, since you've posted these in that thread as well, did you want me to leave this thread open?
  9. Cronk not like snipers. That just mean. Cronk bash Barr Handle form front row.
  10. ATTENTION! TLG has requested that we take down Oky's pictures at this time. It seems that there was a break-in at their plant in Mexico and this set somehow found it's way to the black market early. We here at Eurobricks take theft seriously. We are looking into how this set came to be in Oky's possession and how we should proceed moving forward. Disciplinary action may be taken. Thank you for your patience. We hope to bring you all the latest pics whenever TLG actually releases this set but in order to maintain our relationship with our favorite toy company, we must abide by their wishes.
  11. Please use proper spelling. I can't even make sense of whatever it is you wrote.
  12. Sure, it did. I'd do a virus scan if I were you. The first of April is notorious for malicious software being unleashed on the internet.
  13. Proof of what, your love of trees?
  14. Mimecraft, what is that? And don't try to pull something with the "your avatar is like that, too" because mine's still Superman and has been for a few weeks.
  15. Cronk is not I_-I_-+='s username. What are you talking about?
  16. Cronk not think party need worry so much. (Cronk not believe thing about snipers anyway. Why snipers not prevent friends from entering Auntie's shop?) But Cronk will defer to majority. Cronk would hate to part with keystone only to need it later.
  17. Nope. I'd have moved the post to the topic in culture and Multimedia but I see you've already posted it there. There's no reason to post the same thing twice even when they're in different parts of EB.
  18. I'll agree with William and Tony. I'd say Richard as my third. If it comes down to me or Sheldon being a Demon as Sylvia seems to believe, I know it's not me.
  19. My Marvel sets arrived this morning! I got this one, the Wolverine set and the Hulk set. I'm going to open one a day since they represent almost a third of my Lego budget for the year. So the other two reviews to come soon! First, I'd like to apologize for the quality of my pics. I'm not a great photographer and it's a gloomy, overcast day in Ohio. Second, Captain America is my second favorite Avenger so this set was a must have for me. Let's see if it's worth it. Price: 12.99 USD Parts: 72 Minifigs: Captain America, Alien General, Alien Soldier Front of Box. Back of Box. VREEE! I don't remember if the DC sets had sound effect words on the back of the box but all three of the Marvel ones I got do. They all emphasize the play functions. Contents. Manual and sticker sheet shown later. DSS. It's all right but I can never get them aligned correctly, so I almost never apply stickers. So they're staying on the sheet for now. Larger Bag Smaller Bag. I've never seen those blade things before. CLICK! Man, this set's full of action! Parts List Avenger Cycle. Notice the clip on the back? That's where Cap's shield goes although the manual never tells you that. They seem to think Cap's safer driving one handed and carrying the shield. I think he looks cooler like this. Alien Missile Launcher. Nothing much to write home about. Some good parts in good colors but not many. Alien Glider Thing - It does look slightly better in person. Might be nicer with stickers, too, but that isn't going to happen. EXTRA PIECES: Just two cheese slopes, one trans clear and one trans blue. Not worth taking a picture of. Captain America Himself. Worth the price of admission right there. The Aliens. I assume the one on the left in the first pic is the general since he has the glider. The manual and box don't really say. Not a huge fan of them. Maybe I'll like them better after seeing the movie. Right now I have no frame of reference as to how accurate they are. Final Thoughts: I like this set. After seeing all the preview pictures, I didn't like a lot about it but I still had to get it for Cap. In person, though, the set itself looks much better. The Cycle is growing on me. The glider looks decent and has some swooshability. I think the set is worth what I paid. Still not excited about the Aliens but, hey, every hero needs some villains to fight. 8/10 Even more pictures here!
  20. Greetings, Mr. Doznehands. Mr. Dozenhands seems to be very well informed. Cronk does not wish to bash anyone needlessly so if Mr. Dozenhands could get out of Party's way... Party still has mystery to solve. Speaking of which, any information that Mr. Dozenhands has that Mr. Dozenhands could tell party would be nice. Might smooth hostilities over.
  21. I have to say that as the first game I've played with a dedicated night action, I rather enjoyed killing people. I was very thankful that I had both Cecilie and def to talk things over with after the first night. We were very confident about our town alliance those first few days. We probably wouldn't have been as much had we known that the secret agents knew who we all were. If they'd actually had a kill action, we'd have been in trouble.
  22. Glad that it was resolved. Weird that it disappeared like that. Probably just a glitch with the listing.
  23. It says available for preorder still on US Amazon. Was your order from Amazon itself or a third party seller? What country's Amazon did you order it from?
  24. But key is here and evil that making guards vanish here. Why would vault be so far away? Cronk want to know what so special about Strivvi. Why is trip so expensive?
