  1. Cronk walks up to Elphaba and picks out a pretty Opal Gem. Cronk hands over 100 gold. Cronk sells the bone for 5 gold. This leaves Cronk with 80 gold. Cronk thanks Elphaba. Cronk then goes to see Smithy and gets the gem imbued into his Sword of Bashing and hands the smithy 50 gold. This leaves Cronk with 30 gold. Cronk thanks Anwyl.
  2. Cronk hopes Skrall is successful with new bow. Cronk find real princess once, but it is long story. Sad ending for Cronk. Thinking of it still make Cronk little sad... Cronk is still deciding about quests. Cronk think Cronk will sign up but there is still some time. Cronk does need to travel to marketplace soon to make sure Cronk properly equipped for next quest, whichever one Cronk can get in. Speaking of which, Cronk will be back shortly.
  3. Cronk think that there may be something in friend Skrall that surprise even Skrall's self. Not every being knows plan for self. Cronk certainly didn't know what Ennoc had in store for Cronk. Cronk not even know about Ennoc. Cronk in no hurry for gold. Skrall can pay Cronk when Skrall has the gold. Meanwhile Cronk cannot use crossbow, so Skrall can go ahead and take it for now. Cronk think Cronk can tell that Skrall can be trusted and hope that crossbow serves Skrall well on Skrall's next quest.
  4. That is certainly interesting background, friend Skrall. Cronk knows not every hero knows about heroic destiny and can sometimes fall into work not suited to hero. Skrall seem to be on right path now and that make Cronk glad. And yes, Cronk follow Righteous Light of Ennoc. But not like some supposed followers, Cronk actually care about true justice. The justice that bashes evil wherever it is found but also protects innocents from prejudice and hatred. Cronk wanted be Hero ever since Cronk was young Orc. Cronk read many books about Heroes. When Cronk old enough to lift sword, Cronk begin training to bash evil and be hero like in books Cronk read. Unfortunately corruption grew in Goblonia, Cronk's homeland. Cronk bash evil wizard whose brother was King. King banish Cronk. Cronk wandered for long time but now Cronk knows that Ennoc was gently guiding Cronk here to help all beings. Cronk is happy to have purpose. Cronk think maybe Ennoc guide Skrall to Cronk without Skrall knowing. This Croosbow is very heavy. Cronk not think many heroes here able to carry it very easily. But new friend Skrall look like weight would not bother Skrall. Cronk cannot use Crossbow, would Skrall like to buy it?
  5. Greetings! Actually, Cronk is a Paladin. Cronk get this crossbow from fallen enemy. Cronk doesn't believe Cronk caught new friend's name?
  6. I was planning on selling it anyway. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to get Cronk to loan it to you, Orc to Orc, until you can pay him for it. I'd hate for Skrall to lose the Hunter's Crossbow since I think it's been a part of his character for so long. Besides, I'm sure there'll be times when you won't want to knock your opponent to the back row so your Hunter's one would probably be a good back up weapon. We can haggle price in character.
  7. Cronk is Cronk. Nice to make new friend.
  8. Hello, all beings! Cronk is back. Cronk sees Nyx and sits next to her after retrieving some buttermilk from the bar. Cronk can't help but notice how Nyx left in a huff. Cronk think guard Patricia is jerk, too, if it helps. Friends only try to help and guard yell at friends, questions friends honesty when it is gaurds' honesty that is questionable.
  9. It's all very well and good for you to say that, not playing a knight class. I'm sure most of us could argue any one of the classes is overpowered. Really it varies from player to player. Nyx, for example, is a truly powerful example of a mage class character who has consistently kicked butt in all of her quests. No one's suggested that her abilities get nerfed. Tesni was an unstoppable force as a raging barbarian equipped with a darkness imbued weapon. No one nerfed the barbarian class because of her. The knight classes are about defense and the largest part of that is SP. Knights are also front line fighters that have to absorb some damage to survive. I know that I sound a little biased playing one, but I think the rules are fair. Cronk may not have taken a lot of damage this past quest but I spent a lot of time earning the gold to get his SP that high. If the way damage is calculated with SP is changed, upgrading SP isn't worth it. I understand coming up with tough battles can be hard on the QM but I think a lot depends on how the dice go. In the Paladin Conquest, the final assault on the city was a disaster, with half the party down and the rest of us just trying to survive rather than win and that was with our shields. I think this past quest went well because the dice were with us and we as a party, Pandora especially, made smart choices strategically. If we had taken on the enemies whose specials damaged the whole party first, we would have quickly died. And as it was, the other party members besides Cronk were very low on health several times and only strategy and lucky rolls kept them up and fighting.
  10. Scuba: Overall an enjoyable quest. Was there something else we should have done to continue with the quest? The quest ending felt sudden, like we missed something. I certainly didn't expect that the Barr fight would be the last. I think you did have some rule hiccups throughout the quest but I think you handled them well after they were brought up.
  11. Cronk could babysit. Hmm. There's an idea for a sitcom brewing there. "Cronk in Charge".
  12. Two words: Capitalization and Punctuation. Your posts are an eyesore. If you used the above, your posts would be 500% easier to read. I'm tired of being ignored about this. It isn't that hard to make posts legible.
  13. OOC: I thought someone had and you just showed a picture of the tile saying it was for a man called Barr Handle. The tile said Dead or Alive, 500. If it actually said something different in game, that's fine but I think that would have been the opportunity to say so. Cronk did read it. But Cronk can see that Cronk not getting anywhere. If guards were more honest and forthright, guards would be better liked.
  14. Cronk hate to haggle fine point but if Patricia want criminal alive to question Patricia should not put dead or alive on poster. Dead or alive means Patricia will pay reward either way and infer that both are equally acceptable. Poster did not say 500 gold for living but 80 gold for dead. Poster only say 500 gold. Cronk not really care about the gold, it principle of thing. By issuing poster, Patricia has entered into contract with whatever being brings Barr in and wording of contract does not specify that less gold will be offered if Barr not brought in alive.
  15. Welcome to Eurobricks. We'd all appreciate a little more effort in posts. Explain what you think is "cute". Elaborate a bit. A post should add to a discussion. Meanwhile also take care with your capitalization and punctuation. Thank you.
  16. At the end there, when Tammo and Zepher had us pretty much dead to rights, my biggest concern was my team. I felt bad converting people only to make them lose. Especially when they put in so much effort early on to try and help the town before their conversions (One of the main reasons for converting them was that they were actually playing and so they were big threats). So what I'm happiest about is that I didn't lead my team to failure. They all deserved the win. Biggest mistake I think I made was trying a second time to convert Peppy. We didn't know why the first time failed but we had counted on converting her to steal more of the clues. I thought maybe it was a single protector who happened to be lucky that night so we tried again. Not converting two nights in a row really broke our momentum. After that we just couldn't keep the clues to ourselves. Before then, we really succeeded at controlling the clues. Tammo was the first townie to get a clue and not get converted. If we had known that one clue would be a magical boomerang clue, we might have tried harder to even prevent that.
  17. Cronk remember reward poster said 500 gold for Barr... Are friends done, then? Is there nothing else party can do to find guards now?
  18. Okay everyone. Stop quoting pictures and keep the discussion of the game to the thread that it belongs in.
  19. Yeah, you posted it here and I moved it to the correct thread (the game discussion). Then you posted it here again. Stop doing this. This is obviously unlockable characters in the game rather than actual minifigs so it DOES NOT belong in this thread.
  20. I've moved this to the discussion of the video game since I doubt they're talking about minifigs here but rather unlockable game characters.
  21. And now Sylvia is just damned.
  22. Maybe Cronk poke too hard. Can Cronk determine if dead man is member of wolfgang? Can Cronk hear any noises from within guard building?
  23. Cronk will poke man laying down with Bloody Pointy Stick to determine if man is alive. That not look like guard. Friends should be careful. Whatever cause guards to vanish may be inside.
  24. Going up against a Demon when death is on the line! Hahahaha! Thud.
  25. I had a feeling that there would be more to it than just us voting in the third fighter. Congrats Fellow Demons! You guys were a great team. I'm glad that's over too. Being a demon for so long was starting to get to me.
