Heroica RPG - Quest #23: Guarding the Guards
CorneliusMurdock replied to Scubacarrot's topic in The Heroica Archive
Okay, friend Nyx. Pikeman move around too much for Cronk anyway. Cronk will bash Spearman from front row. -
Hey now, don't go blaming others for your mistakes. Remember dead men tell no tales, but if they did they'd be horror stories.

Review: 6868 Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout
CorneliusMurdock replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
The smaller sets were in excellent condition. The Helicarrier was dented a little since it was on the bottom with the others on top. There was also a light cut on the back where it looked like someone had nicked it with a utility knife. I assume that it was on top in one the boxes that Walmart received and that the person opening it wasn't too careful. I don't save boxes, though, so it really doesn't bother me as long as the actual set is still fine. -

Okay, so near as I can figure, this is all the evidence against me: 1.) Chris, Diana, and I were said to be "untrustworthy" by the monk. 2.) Sylvia's "vision". 3.) Chris' gem throwing clues. So here's my response. 1.) There's two other people in this group. Diana is already tied to a puddle, so she could very well be the one who is untrustworthy. I don't trust Chris either, and he has nothing confirmable that can clear him. 2.) Sylvia's vision is a load of bull. It contradicts the vision of Willoughby that we've all seen. It's amazingly specific when all the other clues have been vague. It cannot be confirmed by anyone else. 3.) I believe that Chris had a gem clue. But just one. I don't buy this clue that keeps on giving crap. I think he's lying about it. I don't know why other than the fact that he could be a demon. I know this seems like a lot of evidence but I think there's manipulation going on here. I can't prove it by myself. I'm one person without some magical nigh action. All I can do is protest the facts against me knowing that I am not a demon. -

That's a lot of info you've compiled there, Donna. Thanks for making that effort. I will have to contest your conclusions later but right now I'm feeling run down. I'm gonna go sit quietly in a corner for a while. I'm sure there's a flaw in there somewhere. -

And we have only your word that this is the case? You seriously don't see how unconvincing that is to an outside observer? You've wandered around here this entire time with your head up your butt and now you're barking orders? I've already presented the clues I got a few chapters back. My defense of myself is in the best interest of the group because it's about truth. -
Added. You do have to actually choose a house. Our sorting hat is manually operated.

I don't have to twist your words at all, it's what you said. I just drew the logical conclusion. And now we're supposed to believe that only your gem clue is recurring? Your excuses get less and less plausible. What was it you said about Occam's Razor? It looks like you might be in need of a shave. I'd like to examine the sword that was on the wall next to the steps to see if anything has changed about that one. -

If people who get the gem clues can't be converted, why are you accusing Samantha of being a demon now? Your story doesn't add up. -

Red Moon 2: Chapter 8
CorneliusMurdock replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
All of which you'd know if you were a demon. The fact that there are gem clues is not being debated now. I contest your results. I think you're making them up. I don't know about Diana but I know I'm not. I'm pretty certain you're the demon and everything else is you getting out of it. No one's said you're working with Diana. As I said above the fact that there are such things as gem clues doesn't prove that you couldn't lie about your results. If you could have won more challenges, I think you might have tried to frame the clues. But you weren't under pressure, your team mate was. Chris was a member of the first untrusted group. It was going to be his word against mine until you took a hand in it and made sure I was the one that looked like the demon. It's just a very convenient vision that would name me specifically when this thing is a mystery. What the hell kind of mystery is it if the author shouts the answer at you? Why did you get the vision and no one else? (Of course now you can always get another demon to say they got it, too.) I'd like to read the words aloud. Who's helping now? -

Red Moon 2: Chapter 8
CorneliusMurdock replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You're making yourself look unreliable by acting lie you should be in the looney bin. I have no control over you acting crazy, so don't blame that on me. I've given out my clues. That's all the "hard evidence" I have. My clues aren't specific enough to start calling someone a demon based on them. (And I think all the clues separately are just like that.) The only thing I know besides that is the fact that I'm not a demon. Logically, the only reason someone would be trying so hard to make it look like I was is because that person is a demon. For the last time, your "well-built" case is anything but. It's circumstantial evidence based the word of two people. I've poked enough holes in it already that the wind whistles as it blows through it. -

This is a fight for our lives. I'm sorry that it amuses you somehow. So you admit that you were deadweight and I was actually trying to catch demons? Okay, I concede that point. We found clues. Just because they weren't the clues you wanted us to have doesn't mean it was a waste of time. I'm sorry, Sylvia must also have said it a few times. But since you're such great buddies, I hope you can forgive me for that mix-up. You're making yourself look unreliable. you don't need much help from me. Talking a lot without having anything of substance to say is something a demon would do. That was a joke. And yes, I can't claim that I trust Samantha 100%. I have no way of determining with that much certainty which side she's on. No non-demon does. Logically dissecting your argument isn't grasping at straws. It's called defending myself and the rest of the innocents from demons like you. -

Talking in nonsense is a sign of scumminess, Chris. Not the point I was making. I was saying that sniffing blood was stupid and pointless. As in not helping anyone. You keep claiming I've done nothing. What have you done? Most of these people have been complacent and distant so you could get away with whatever you wanted while no one was paying attention. You started to realize that with the number of clues out there, it was only a matter of time until we found out everything. Now you're trying to discredit just about everyone who could possibly have any evidence that you're demons. It probably is even working with some of the inattentive people still out there. Oh, come on. Honestly, Samantha and I are buddying so hard that we're pretty much confirmed to not be demons. (Worked as an argument for you didn't it?) All I'm doing is pointing out a flaw in your reasoning. Of course, your view is that anyone who does that is automatically a demon. I'll never confess to being a demon because it isn't true. I've diligently searched for clues. I've tried to protect the group on several occasions (Look it up). I've worked hard to win challenges so that I could try to keep the clues away from the demons. All the evidence against me is you and Sylvia proclaiming me a demon but in no confirmable way. I think it would be easy to lie about the gem clues and I think that's exactly what you did. I also think you knew that it wasn't enough so you made up the whole vision thing to try to pin me down. The truth is you're afraid of me because I was getting too close to finding out who the real demons were. -

Red Moon 2: Chapter 8
CorneliusMurdock replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
You are one crazy bastard. Admitting you're a murderer now? That doesn't make you look like a demon. I don't count your blood sniffing as hard evidence of anything except your stupidity. It's not grasping at straws to point out how stupid your accuser is. I think it is possible that you got caught up in "playing" a demon but I overall I'm just pointing out that blood-sniffing was just stupid and not at all helpful in our goal to escape this place alive. Again, circumstantial evidence. And if Sylvia's fishy, she's one of the collector's of said circumstantial evidence. How does that make any kind of sense? You guys are obviously trying a power play. That sort of thing would be impossible without working together. I think it's close enough to the end that you guys are probably going to try something like saying you're all secretly masons or something just to get those not paying attention to trust you. Except she revealed that after she had to have been converted according to your list. Why would she tell the truth about something like that when it would only help the town if she truly was a demon? The truth is that what she contradicts something in your elaborate lie and therefore you have to smear her name. -
Red Moon 2: Chapter 8
CorneliusMurdock replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
What I find truly disturbing is that the guy who keeps sniffing the blood puddles is the one who thinks he can call the shots. I'd like to remind everyone that the "evidence" against me is entirely circumstantial. I don't believe this "vision" that Sylvia claims to have had. None of the other clues have definitively pointed at a single person, so why should this secret one of Sylvia's? She also keeps backtracking and refining her story when I argue against what she says. They even justify not tying any puddle to me. Situations like this have certain rules that are followed and if a theory disregards these rules, they just throw them out. Sylvia and Chris keep saying how much they trust one another and trying to flimsily justify it afterwards. ("Oh I looked into his eyes, yeah, that's it.") Who in here can absolutely trust one another? The demons. I think they're trying to get us to distrust one another in order to get what they want in the end. The only ones who have claimed the gem clues have been Sylvia, Chris, and Samantha. Samantha's clue cleared someone they wanted not trusted so now suddenly she's not to be trusted. And it looks like they may be bringing another person they "trust" into it later to "prove" this point. Again, only demons can trust one another. -
How to upload from Flickr to Eurobricks
CorneliusMurdock replied to Gregorovich's topic in Forum Information and Help
The browser address when you look at a picture on flickr isn't what you use. When you're looking at the picture there's a bar above it and one of the buttons says "share". Click that and choose the HTML/BB code option. They even give you several options for size. Just copy/paste the code in the box, making sure you have a size chosen that's 800x600 or smaller and the the BB code bubble is chosen as well. -

Here you go. I really like this one a lot better than the original hair. It'd be absolutely perfect if it was a little less spikey on top and maybe a shade lighter. I also tried a different head with it. -

Hopefully the remaining builders will complete their builds soon. Credit for the tags go to Hinckley. Thanks again Hinck!
