  1. I like all the different street lights. Off course in a village it looks weird when every street light is different but I like it to see what different technique they used this year instead of the same technique for every set.
  2. Today I found my first 'lucky Lego find'. I went to a retail store to look at some Lego sets and I found set 7965 (Star Wars Millennium Falcon) with a price tag of 75 euro (retail price of 160 euro). Off course I grabbed it immediately and went to the cash register to buy it. But when the cashier scanned the barcode the retail price of 160 euro showed up. Luckily the cashier was not aware of what the correct price should be so she gave it to me for 75 euro. So I bought it with almost a 55% discount of the retail price!
  3. Thank you. Ordered the Starfighter. Unfortunately it's out of stock and will be send july the 30th. I hope this is true and I'm not too late.
  4. I'm torn between the pharao quest pyramid (7327) and the ucs Starfighter (10215). They are both 40 euro. The starfighter good for display but the pyramid has (I think) better parts. I'm not really a moc'er but I love good parts, minifigures and display sets. What set should I buy?
  5. Thanks for the info. I googled Winterliche Hütte and it looks like a cottage. That was also the previous information.
  6. A member on Brickset (flump6523) told us the following about the Winter Village set: This was back in March so I don't know if this is still relevant information.
  7. 4) Butcher Entry (Build by Walt) - 2 points 23) Mechanic Entry (Build by Darkblane) - 1 point
  8. 2) The ski jump in Holmenkollen in Oslo (Sleepyhead) Entry (Build by Cecilie) 1 point 4) Finishing Touches (Lady Liberty) Entry (Build by Darkblane) - 1 point 11) The Fisherman's Surprise (Clockwork Robot) Entry (Build by JackJonespaw) - 1 point
  9. Hard to choose but here are my votes: 10) 2 point 12) 2 point 17) 2 point 24) 1 point
  10. I think it is because the last batch of the FB was missing pieces so they had to fix that first before they could sell it. Before the TH came out the FB was out of stock because of this. I think Lego was planning to sell the last batch before the TH was out but because they couldn't do that they're selling it right now.
  11. This is stunning! Absolutely gorgeous. Also great work on the instructions. They're very clear and I think it is very nice of you to put so much work in these instructions for others. I hope I can build it somewhere in the future (when I have the money to buy 4300 bricks on Bricklink). Keep up the good work!
  12. R2 will be 150 pound just like the new town hall so it will be around $200 and 180 euro.
  13. Thanks! Looks great!
  14. Sorry I didn't read you're post very well. I know, I misread it as a statement instead of an opinion. An opinion can't be wrong.
  15. Because TLG spend hours working on a different design doesn't make it better. Time has nothing to do with better. Also a more detailed minifigure doesn't necessarily make it better if the details are just wrong. I don't want to debate about which one is better but you're statement is wrong.
  16. I live in The Netherlands and here all the modulars are 150 euro so this one will probably be 200 euro in my country. I don't think you understand me. I don't think the price is unfair. It's normal for bigger sets to have a higher price. I just don't want to pay 200 euro for such a set. I prefer a smaller set for 150 euro (like they are now). Just this once I don't mind a bigger set but I don't like it if this will be the norm in the future. EDIT: Just saw you name 'The Dutch Guy' . You must know the prices for the modulars in The Netherlands . The prices on the S@H are 150 euro. I know I can get them cheaper on other websites but the official pricing is 150 euro.
  17. canuhandle23, a member of Brickset Forum, said that the price will be 199 us dollar and the next year's set will have the same amount of pieces. I really don't hope the modulars will be 199 us dollar (199 euro) from now on. I can afford 150 euro but 200 euro will be too much. I hope the higher price is only this year.
  18. Hard to choose but here are my votes! 1. Tatertots- 1 4. Dix - 1 10. Priovit70 - 1 18. Yatkuu - 1 27. Dede_la_fee - 1 But nice work everyone!
  19. Thank you for answering. And sorry for going off topic but I thought the question wasn't 'big' enough to justify a new topic. But I will do it next time!
  20. I know this is not the right topic for this question but certainly the most active topic about modular buildings. I just bought the Fire Brigade and wanted to recreate the box picture but I have a problem with attaching the helmet to the hands of the minifigures. Does anyone knows how this is done? is it even possible? Thanks in advance.
  21. Did anyone else saw the 1x1 round tile in Gold (elevator buttons)? If there are 2 on every floor that means there are 6 in total!
  22. yes off course but the build is just too simple. The shaft will be closed. I don't think the platform will be closed.
  23. http://i.imgur.com/4pfEc.jpg Here is a better image of the box. I really don't like the elevator. Everything else looks great.
  24. Very Nice! It's not that big but in my opinion more beautiful. I like the background!
